PLAYER TEAM Made Att. Pct.
Kobe Bryant Lakers 84 238 .353

Daniel Gibson Cavaliers 78 389 .468

Richard Hamilton Pistons 43 92 .467

Jason Kapono Raptors 50 98 .510

Steve Nash Suns 101 216 .468

Peja Stojakovic Hornets 122 264 .462

I understand Gibson, Kapono, Nash, and Stojakovic, and maybe maybe Hamiltion. But Kobe? Talk about the league wanting ratings on All-Star weekend. Kobe's a fucking 35% 3-point shooter! He sucks! What the hell is KoME doing in there! lol.

I think saying Kobe sucks is a little strong. Kobe is a competitor and a decent shooter, should be fun. I am definetly not going to get bent out of shape over this.

I like seeing good players in these contests, and not a bunch of scrubs who hit their shots because no one is within 15 feet of them every time they put a shot up.

I can't believe Hamilton is shooting so well though. I've never known him to have three-point range before.

i like it...i rather see stars shoot then sasha vujajic. Just like i rather see Kobe in the dunk contest over Mr. Noone Knows.

Kobe is a streaky shooter, I think, than a pure 3 point shooter. He might make them all or clank them all.

i hope peja or gibson win

Dude, you're nuts. Kobe is definitely one of the best 3 point shooters in the league. The reason his percentages are low is because he takes too many bad 3's, or his team passes him the ball with like 2 seconds left on the clock and he has to chuck one up. But when it comes to pure shooting ability, he is one of the best in the league.

I'm putting my money on Nash though. Best shooter in NBA history.

How about Antoine Walker vs. Shawn Marion. A contest of who can hit the most threes with the worst looking form.

I believe he led the league in percentage two seasons ago. He doesn't really shoot them very often but when his feet are set, he's definitely capable. Don't think he'll do very well in the contest though.

Kobe:
Record: 12 triples in 1 game
Record: 9 straight in 1 game

Will Kobe win...not with a dislocated finger that he currenlty has. I won't bet against him though. I see Peja winning.

Well Nash is a pretty deadly shooter, but the best in History is a stretch...no doubt. Still, going to be entertaining.

Nash is a GREAT shooter, don't get me wrong. But he isn't even the best shooter in Suns history.

Nash, Kobe, Peja for the final 3. But when Peja is on, and in these last 2-3 weeks he seemes to have turned the clock back to 2004, no one is a better shooter than him in the NBA today. He really might be one of the best in history.

LMAO...you can't just look at that and tell that the math doesn't add up? :lol

He's 104 for 222 which is .468...

Kevin Martin puts them both to shame.

Yeah he has one of the smoothest strokes. Should be a good one this year. Way better than the awkward Dirk winning year.

This is a competition Kobe has a chance to be > Jordan

Kobe only has to make 6

well since the dunk contest has blown over the past decade since VC was in it...the only thing worth while to me on allstar saturday is the 3pt shootout
