I have no problem with Ron Paul as a Congressman, a statesman, or a libertarian standard-bearer. He has served his nation with honor and principle for a long, long time, and will continue to do so until he retires from public office. This piece of legislation underscores his desire to do right by the people of America.
(It's too bad his association with Lew Rockwell has caused all the crazy people to latch onto him.)

Who wrote the original legislation that required family members
to repay the loans to begin with? Could it have been Congress,
who Ron Paul is a member thereof?
I don't think the VA just came up with this idea out of thin air.
