Holy cow..how stacked were those teams back then..How many hall of famers were playing in the All Star games..incredible. The all-star game now is a joke!
Well it stands to reason that an all-star game from 18 years ago is going to have more HOF players in it than there are now....

Exactly...but those were some nice plays indeed.
I love the barkley block...man he was a beast back then. Jordan was pretty small looking, but quick and very dangerous. Magic was Magic and Bird was Bird.....but you could see the new generation, Pipp, Jordan, Ewing, Barkley, Hakeem and Rodman in there....

The between-the-Ewing's'legs pass form Isiah to Jordan, and the dunk on the Admiral.
Perfect play :elephant

The East was as much of a beast back then as the West is now.

The game seems much more competitive don't you think. I mean, nowadays they are not even playing until the last 5 minutes. The only good game from recent memory is the marbury/iverson takeover in the last minute for the east in 02 I think.

It still amazes me how much Hakeem improved from 1990 to 1995. Around 1990, Hakeem wasn't even that good. His stats looked good but he was only like 50% of the player he became and he wasn't even the type of player who made his team better. He was basically like Chris Kaman if Kaman averaged five more points per game. Good stats but no substance and not even really a franchise player.
If you back it up to 1986, Hakeem was a choker who Bill Walton dunked all over in the Finals. He went from that to unguardable ten years later.

Nice... but i'm having trouble identifying a lot of the players (video too grainy)... who was the guy who made that scoop shot in number 2?
Do all players sport their team numbers? E.g. is number 50 David Robinson?? What happens if 2 players have clashing numbers? I was looking for The Admiral all over and think I recognised him several times but it's difficult to be certain.

The video IS grainy and it's no surprise you wouldn't know who that was. He was just a scrub basically. He was named MAGIC JOHNSON :reading

That was awesome, thanks.
Was it the game where Barkley got like 22 rebounds and won the MVP?

Sacrifice.
For exemple, in the East, Bird had number 33, so Ewing and Pippen had to wear 3 and 30 respectively
