That's how we've been in Humboldt for the last couple of weeks. We've FINALLY gotten a little bit of sun this week.

I used to live in Seattle. But there, it was piddly little rain, like a constant drizzle more than outright showers. I would have rather the heavy downpour.

It's been like this virtually every day for the past 2 months!

Mel is right. I lived in Olympia and I used to think it was strange how you could go out in the rain and not get wet. Longest stretch without sunshine was 23 days.

I heard thats why Seattle WA has the highest suicide rate. Is there any truth to that?

Humboldt is famous for its greenery among other things...In August, I saw a news story reporting that they'd already confiscated over 500,000 marijuana plants for the year. And there were at least two more big busts in 2007 that I remember.

Longest stretch without sunshine was 23 days.It was the opposite of that here yesterday -- the kind of drizzle that you can't feel, and can barely see, but next thing you know you're soaked.

Yeah, I have moved around a bit. California, Washington State, Virginia, New Jersey and of course Texas, my home state. And that doesn't count places I have visited.

No. I'm from the LA area, but currently living in Humboldt County in California.

I went up to Humboldt county to see the redwoods during my trip last year. O course it rained the whole time, but I drove there up Hwy 1 from SF and it was breathtakingly beautiful.

Spent my birthday being pumped full of saline in the Ukiah ER. That was fun... not! :lol
