How does this not make sense. He has an option for next year. He can rebound like a fiend. He doesn't need to touch the ball to be effective. He only costs around 6.5, 7 million. Oberto and Elson not only don't play, but stink when they do.

This needs to happen

That'd be nice, but Pacers wouldn't do it.

Pacers were willing to trade Jermaine O'neill to the SUNS so anythings possible there.
Foster would be solid next to Duncan.
But if it ain't broke....why fix it? You've got Bob.

The Pacers have a dumbass front office who doesnt know how to trade for anything except overrated players with bloated multiyear contracts.

Translation.
They don't send their best players to Boston or LA for peanuts.

They will soon. That team has so many multiyear contracts of average players especially Jermaine. The more the Pacers continue to be picky, the worse it gets for that franchise.

Jeff Foster makes Willie Anderson look like AC Green.

No thanks.

So, now we examine the promiscuity of potential Spurs?

Not to mention he is from San Antonio. Madison

He's a rebounding machine, specially on the offensive boards. Knows how to play physical, uses his body well. Just what we need.

gotta find a way to keep Oberto. he's servicable and plays extremely well alongside manu and duncan. we need to upgrade elson.

yeah. bring foster in. he's a lively one and isn't afraid to stick his finger in someone else's pie.

mojo, horry is not the problem. elson is. he's clearly brain dead.

Agreed... It's too risky to trade away Oberto at this point. We need at least one dependable big next to Duncan who knows the system. Oberto isn't flashy but he usually does his job.

It'd be a little scary depending on Horry, Elson, or a 'learning the system' Foster.

I seriously had a dream last night that the Spurs traded Tony Parker for Jeff Foster. I think I woke up crying.

Jeff is very familiar with the guys, and would not be bad.

He practices at the Spurs facility all Summer long because he is from SA.

He would be nice, but don't think the Pacers would be interested.

I like Oberto...he'd be the ideal backup center coming off the bench with Manu. I couldn't think of a better combo than those 2.

The key here is...backup center. We need a rebounder playing alongside of Timmy starting.

I'd be happy if we just had Nazr or Rasho right now.

If Pacers is willing to take Elson...why not. Otherwise, no way
