Time to avenge the home loss to these guys from earlier in the year.
Bargnani seems to have woken up recently from his season long slump and both teams are playing their second game in as many nights.
I'm going to the game and will hopefully get a post game report afterward (and hopfully I can find my camera)
Also, keep your fingers crossed that I can get Ginobili's autograph :smokin :oops

Where does Rasho rank among the Spurs' bigs?
Is he better or worse than Oberto, Bonner or Elson?

Uh yeah hes talking about Michael Finley, hence the reason he said "Michael Finley is shooting"
Who gives a crap what the meaningless Raptors are shooting.

IMO Kapono will be lucky to get a shot off.
Udoka and or Bowen will be switched off onto and if thats done, the Raptors offense will get messed up.
Spurs should win this game semi easily.

Sam Mitchell will not be with the Raptors until after the NBA all-star break, having returned to his Atlanta home Monday to be with his family after the death of his father-in-law, the team announced.
Mitchell will return to his head coaching duties for the Feb. 23 game against the Orlando Magic, giving him more than a week to spend with his wife, their four children and his wife’s family.
Assistant Mike Evans will be the acting head coach for Monday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs while Jay Triano will fill that role on Wednesday against the New Jersey Nets.
They were named to the jobs because Evans was in charge of the scouting report for the Spurs while Triano handled the Nets. Had the Raptors faced any of the teams that assistant Alex English is charged with scouting, he would have filled in as the head coach.

38 and 40 mins Sunday for Manu and Tim.

The Spurs will be alright if they can shoot a lot better than 31% vs Raps@ATT in December.

Some crazy things have happened to the Spurs in Toronto. Shot 24% there in 2002; losing a game that they led by 18 at the end of 3 quarters in 2004 (I think).
I have a bad feeling about this one, but I'll keep hope alive.

If Manu learns to pace himself he can definitely play a lot of minutes. I think he is learning how to do that effectively.
I like how Duncan on the time out was patting him on the back like "good job good job" :lol

I saw the Raptors in 1996. They came to town to play the Silver & Black at the Dome. My brother knew Dave Barnett, before he went off to ESPN, and used to get floor-level seats behind one of the baskets. So three friends and I went and watched the Spurs mop the floor with Raptor butt.
I am pretty sure that Might Mouse was on that Toronto team. Anyway, the Spurs went on like a 25-0 run in the second quarter and the game was a runaway. Chuck Person nailed a bunch of 3s, Cory Alexander fed Cadillac Anderson (!) for an alley-oop, and David was superb.
Gosh, I miss David.

Both he and Tim didn't capitalize at the start. Hopefully they regather their heads.
But Manu did get fouled physically on the end but there was no call, and that's why Pop got pissed...

He's starting to warm up more lately, the past dozen games or so.
It's getting close to the push for the Playoffs, he'll get even more effective from here on in.
He's such a focus of what we do, and also a big focus for the opponent's defense. As the season progresses he sees it all thrown at him. By the last part of the season he's got it all working.
