Appears it's Mets vs. Astros. And the Astros have Texas taxes and cost of living on their side. Houston has until Saturday to reach an agreement, or they have no hope of signing him until May 1 (in other words, no hope at all).
If he does come back, I hope they move Biggio back to 2B and play Lane every day.
