today my little Maddie was born at 4:58pm, 6lb15oz, 18.5 inches long. what an amazing feeling this is. the love i feel for this little girl is hard to describe or explain. i've been up for 24+ hours now and don't feel a bit tired. :spin :spin

For me..it happened so fast...unexpected and there were lotsa family members around that wanted to see her so I didn't get that instant bond...it was more when everyone left and i had her on my chest while she was sleeping. Just looking at her, listening to her breathe...it just all hit me. She's perfect.

thanks everyone....yeah i got off work at 9am...then went to an appt at 9:45....they were concerned about the lack of movement so they recommended we get her out today (she was due the 21st) so we went to another appt at 11:15 where the ob/gyn said lets do it...and it was straight to the hospital at 12 and the c section was done at 4:30. long day and it's not over yet. i have to go home, let the dogs out, shower, change and come back to sleep. fun stuff...i wouldn't trade it for the world.
