Could we just move Detroit and Boston to the western conference and ship the rest of the east to the NBDL? Things would be so much more entertaining.

You'd need to bring Cleveland and Orlando along as Cellar Dwellers.

We'll take Dwight Howard too just so he doesn't have to play in the NBDL.

Can we expand the playoffs to 12 teams?

Final Four teams get a seed in the East!

Cavs will still come out of East with Detroit and Boston there - you heard it there first, they are treading water with 2 pretty good players out and Hughes heating up and in the East they have the best player by far.

With the potential of having a 50-win team miss the playoffs in the West, while the entire lower half of the draw in the East is under .500... there will be more pressure than ever before to dump the conference seeding system and just have the top 16 NBA teams make the playoffs.

We might even see 4 50-win teams in the Southwest alone. :lol
