Kobe Bryant, Lakers G...... 35%
Shaquille O'Neal, Suns C...... 12%
Kevin Garnett, Celtics F...... 6%
LeBron James, Cavs F...... 4%
Dwight Howard, Magic C...... 4%
Allen Iverson, Nuggets G...... 4%
Tim Duncan, Spurs F...... 4%
Steve Nash, Suns G...... 4%
Tracy McGrady, Rockets G...... 2%

[Based on a survey of 242 NBA Players]

FAST FACTS: Poll was completed before O'Neal was traded from the Heat to the Suns last week.... Bryant particularly unnerves forwards, who gave him more than 41% of their vote.... Among players 35 and older, 63% voted for Bryant, who led the league in points, field goals and field goal attempts this season, as well as the last two.

This is an expanded version of the NBA poll from the February 18, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated.

How the fuck is Shaq #2????

And yeah that's nice for Kobe, but do that same poll in 1996 and Jordan gets 99% of the vote.

I'm sure there were players getting less than 2% of the votes, but why list everyone so we can see that Dbenga got .001% so it all adds up to 100%. Man you guys are hillarious. Regardless if that incomplete list doesn't add up to 100%, it still shows 2 players almost having half of the votes.

Oh, and there's no way that Jordan would get 99% of the votes when he played.

Are you dense, you think that 99 out of 100 players would say Jordan is the most feared...you don't think they wouldn't vote for themselves...would he get a high %, probably, not denying that, but to get 99% is comical at best.

Not 99 out of 100......239 out of 242. Who is stupid enough to vote for themselves in the Jordan Era? No ego in the world is big enough for someone to reasonably think they're more intimidating than Jordan. Even Shaq would vote for him.

I agree with the 4% with Duncan. Duncan isn't intimidating. He just quietly hurts opponents with his fundamentally sound game.

Robert Horry should be up on that list.

We now know 35% of people who voted are LA Laker fans, and 12% of them are Suns fans.

So is it intimidating player by looks or his play? Because Kobe doesn't look intimidating, but, I would hate to play him on any given night.
