As you get older, yes I speak from personal experience, things shift and become less muscular. It's also perfectly normal to gain some weight when your metabolism starts to slow. I am not sure how it makes her less attractive since she doesn't generally run around naked, but in fact usually wear very body appropriate clothing that is very flattering
