What?

Please, I beg you to read the posts within a thread and stick to the topics at hand.

What will you do if the Spurs trade for Artest?

I'll continue to root for the Spurs.

What will you do if the Spurs don't trade for Artest?

One example, please.

Good talk.
Yes, please let's rehash what never happened.

It's what you do.

Seriously, if you think I have committed the specifics of your whining to memory over the years, you are sadly mistaken.

No, please just remind me on one (1) outlandish trade proposal that was not possible due to alleged cap and/or contract restrictions.

Or STFU.

Hope they can get Thomas.

Or some help.

Bitch.

What will he do if the Spurs acquire Artest?

Bitch that he isn't starting.

What will he do if the Spurs acquire someone other than Artest?

Bitch that they didn't acquire Artest.

And on it goes. What a boring predictable nutcase.

Which trade scenario was never possible before, Chump.

Yeah, didn't think so, fvcker.

Nah.

I can speak for my self.

I'll hope we can land Thomas, someone else that can help or pray for health and some breaks.

They're your ideas, dumbass.

I can believe they were so inconsequential even you can't remember them.

I sure as hell don't. You simply aren't that important.

Yeah.

Didn't think so, pal.

I love when you talk out of turn.

Every trade proposal I ever imagined or endorsed was either very possible or rumored.

Thanks, though.

All you had to do was post one, but you can't.

Do you realize how many trades I have commented on these past few years?

Now, how many were started by you?

How many real proposals of yours actually stood out above the "please trade for no reason other than trading" drone of yours that has infected this board for lo these many seasons?

None.

Sorry pal, you just don't matter that much.

Yes, I do.

And I know that they were all possible.

All you have to do is post one (1) that was incredible.

I don't do "Howard for Duncan" or "Kersey for Shareef".

Give me a little credit, Chump.

Krist.

Yes, I do.Not that much. You're the boy who cried "Trade!"

And I know that they were all possible.Given your complete ignorance of the business side of basketball, I find that highly unlikely.

Why do you prefer living in the past?

If he couldn't bitch, his life might be enjoyable. I know reading this forum would be a little more enjoyable.

Correct me if Im wrong ,but I would have to say when we traded back for Sean Elliott after trading him away to Detroit for Dennis Rodman.

Nah.

You've stereotyped me, because I beg for trades that are possible and can help us.

Spurs interested in Artest, Thomas, but deal unlikely

The San Antonio Spurs don't have the pieces to make a trade with the potential impact of the Shaquille O'Neal and Jason Kidd deals, and if that sounds familiar, it's because Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has been explaining that same scenario "for about 10 years."

"We've never made a trade that big," Popovich said. "Either we're good enough or we're not. And life goes on."

So even though there continues to be league-wide chatter about the Spurs' rumored interest in Seattle SuperSonics forward Kurt Thomas and even the Sacramento Kings Ron Artest, it's likely that the big-ticket trading season is over.

Big freaking deal Kurt Thomas. That guy couldn't even hold a starting job on the Knicks. Another role player addition.

He is an upgrade to Elson and no doubt a desperation move to try to keep up with a west that has gotten bigger but nothing to jump for joy over.

What a shock, he isnt a dunking headband wearing Vince Carter like player, so hes bad.

Fuck off.

This is a good trade, but not major.

It's a decent move.

I am bummed it's not a star-quality like Artest, but it's something.

Addresses a need.

Yes!!!!!!!!! The FO must've been reading this thread!!! I'm psyched that they've finally done it. They have made a major trade that will improve the Spurs' chance of yet another Championship.

And a huge "f-ck you" to all the douchebags in this thread who've been arguing that trades don't matter and that the Spurs dont' need to make one.

Who's right now, losers????

Ghost Writer

I don't think this is a major trade and Thomas is not a star and borderline starting-quality, but the fact is that the front office got this team much-needed help instead of doing nothing or failing to do something.

It's a d@mn good trade.

I don't think this is a major trade and Thomas is not a star....

OK, I have to admit, I'm psyched for this trade because I've lived in NYC for 10 years and Kurt was my favorite Knick for a long time. And I was impressed by how well he played Duncan in the playoffs last year. I think he's a class act, a savvy veteran, and a guy with a desire to win.

And he may not be a star, but he has better stats than our starting center, so I think this is a very good trade. I may eat my words, but I doubt it.

Fair enough... agreed.

He was one of the bright spots on those Knicks team.

This will not be the second coming of Charles Smith.

Fuck off. I didn't say he is bad. He is better than Elson. Just not a major player trade. Not that I expected the spurs to pull off a big trade.
