i knew it would be tough, but 2 goal tending calls that weren't, led to 4 fastbreak points for t.u....thats an 8 point swing. and they were obvious goal tending. anyway, A&M is slowly climbing back...we'll see.

no, we're getting outplayed anyway. it just adds to the lopsided score and is insult to injury.

The bigger the rivalry in college basketball, the more biased the reffing, that goes both ways.
I was saying the same shit in the A&M game, but im stroking off to watching it happen in our favor this time.

doesn't this game seem to be even worse, though? or am i just biased?

its definitely arguable
one thing though
the first 6 minutes of this game were blatantly, utterly, totally pro-UT, whereas the aggie game had their biasness spread thinly out over the whole game.
We had pro-ut calls against KU, but nothing like this.

Regardless of refs, Texas D'd the shit out of those aggie boys. The D pressure and rotation was June Spurs-esque defense.

aggy has no leader...they will end up a 5 or 6 seed and most likely be bounced out of the 2nd round.
texas gets a little better each game...looking at a 2 seed and staying close to home in houston if they can keep it up.
texas finally figured out that aggy like to penetrate and kick it back out for the three and they defended the shit out of that all nite long.

Texas played a hell of a game inside. Aggies played scared in yet another big road game. This team is primed to be knocked out in the 1st round of the tournament. The lack of a true court leader and turnovers are killing them.

I'm in Germany... at least they have free porn after 11 p.m.... even better because I can't understand what they're saying.
I just wanted to see the All-Star game and see the Shaq v. Lakers game. There's been too much happening back in America over the past week. The war is over (high-def DVD war, that is); McCain is rolling, Hillary is faltering; Shaq is ready to attaq. Dwight Howard is Superman...

Somehow, the executives at major investment firms and banks were able to award themselves $37 billion in bonuses, while the average American loses his home and has difficulty coping with a slowing economy. And then the banks all have to endure write-downs, which affects the average employee who has to listen to his "leaders" tell him to stick it out while they're swimming a la Scrooge McDuck.

At least we'll all get a $600 economic stimulus check in June! I'm gonna buy some rims with that.

Damn! I was expecting a closer game last night. I thought we would win, but not by almost 30 points.
One player for a&m that confuses me is D. Jordan. I haven't watched him play all season, but he just doesn't seem to be progressing as the season goes on. With his size and athleticism I would expect him to be more dominant at this point in the season, but he looks to really be struggling out there.
Anyway, great win for the Horns, if we finish out the season strong might be looking at a #1 seed? Swwweeeeeet!

It'll likely take a regular season and conference tourney win with wins over KState and probably another beating of Kansas in the conference tourney to secure the #1 over KU. Too many good big dogs right now who haven't lost to Mizzou or aTm. It'll be interesting because no one else in the country has beaten three top 6 (as it stands now) teams, and the jacked up thing is that Texas is ranked 7 behind the team they beat on the road (UCLA) and the team they beat in conference (KU). I'm thinking a #5 is in order, but luckily it really doesn't matter for shit.
Here's the key for Texas: If DJ brings that kind of game, Atchley maintains his Wilt the Stilt metamorphisis, and the team defense is of the quality of last night's game then there aren't many teams in the country that can hang. A lot of ifs that can change, but at their best this Texas team is fuckin tough.

UT could easily get the #1 seed. It looks fairly evident that the 4 seeds will go to: Memphis, ACC winner, Tenn (if they are the SEC winner) and the B12 winner. The other 2 possibles are the ACC runner-up and UCLA (assuming they win the P10). With Duke losing and UNC looking vulnerable while the ACC is in a down year, highly unlikely the ACC gets 2 #1 seeds.
I think UT will lose @ KSU, but I also think KU will lose a game at the end of the year; they normally do. They play @ atm the final game so it could be there. I also think KU will beat KSU. This will make a 3-way tie for 1st and it would be UT, KU, KSU. If UT gets the #1 seed, looking at their massive schedule they have had, they only team in the nation to have beaten the OTHER possible #1 seeds (beat UCLA, beat Tenn, beat KU) I don't see how you deny them the #1 overall (as long as they make it to the B12 finals).

#1 overall wont happen if Memphis wins out, even a one loss memphis team will probably still get it.
A #1 seed is a definite if the horns win out. The big 12 tourney should be ridiculously entertaining this year with the 3 top teams (ut, ku, ksu) and a good bunch of sleeper upset-minded teams (atm, baylor, ou, mizzou, tech)

How is this Deandre Jordan guy supposed to be good and a top 10 nba pick? He hasn't shown me shit in the two games I've seen him play thus far.
