Horry brings a nice package to the table, can he do this consistently? I have to admit I was disappointed to see Horry on the Bench and Tim in the game yesterday, the man was on fire. So is Malone the same player for us? Would he be able to do a better job?

Malone is a bigger presence than Horry, and better at defence and the jump shot, Horry is a streaky 3 pt shooter, that is either hot or cold

Horry is a winner,

Malone is a loser who has only played Duncan well one series with Shaq at his back, otherwise lambasted by him throughout career.

Please no Malone (unless to park him on bench to keep him from Miami)

Horry is definately a better defender, but acquiring Malone will hardly affect the playing time of Horry. Horry will probably start playing some Center if he could stay consistent as he did most of this year. It will most likely affect Rose.

But to answer you quesiton. Horry will never be the type player Malone is or was.

I still can't believe how much of a Robert Horry fan I've become. :oops

After all the times I booed him as a Laker....

and made fun of his name....'Whorey'....

and laughed at his temper tantrum after missing that 3 in the 2003 WCSF.

Boy, I never thought I'd see the day when he'd be wearing a Spurs uniform.

Now, he is easily one of my favorite Spurs and an integral part of the best lineup the Spurs can put on the floor this season.

WTG, Rob.

After getting shafted by LA, it's just another one of those Spurs feel-good stories. Especially when he starts picking up rings for that second hand.

i think i would rather have him also his attitude has been a very valuble asset to the club and his hustle has been very important in some key games

It doesn't matter to me whether Malone comes here or not. I will say that Horry helps bring some emotion to the otherwise dulllllllllll low post area. Malik trys, but he can be so damn horrible sometimes. I haven't seen Duncan get pissed off yet this year. He better develop some fire come playoff time, or I'm afraid we might not make it all the way. Horry helps us because he is long (no wisecracks please) and he has some shooting range, plus he brings some energy. I would also take Malone...he wouldn't get major minutes, but it would add more low-post depth, and give us yet another possible set of combinations to throw at other teams. However, all this being said, if it came down to Horry or Malone...I take big Rob!

Talk about opinions that lack quality.
