They had the right personnel & playing style, unfortunately they weren't there mentally.

Which is more than you can say about the Suns, who have all the talent & mentality of a champion, but will never win one because their style of play is fundamentally flawed.

Dallas is still closer to a championship than the Suns will ever be, before or after this trade.

good thing is that mentally this team can be changed by adding a guy like Kidd.

unless the Suns change their entire team philosophy, they're always a regular season team that will never get to the Finals.

OT...

whatever happened with Cuban and the Cubs?

on the trade...this one favors Dallas way better than the first scenario. and i imagine they'll find a serviceable big man at some point as well.

this western conference race to the end is going to be something else this year.

I don't see Pop complaining about this trade, so I'm sure he's happy. I think this is good for the Mavericks.

Cuban is always kicking the tires of other ways to make money.

Now he is pretty focused on HDNet Fights which is really taking off.

The POS Texas Rangers will have a heart attack trying to block it but there is no reason this area shouldn't have two MLB teams.

Hell, I'd settle for one MLB team. :depressed
