AN OBVIOUS truth can be difficult to face. On Monday February 18th Mohamed al Fayed told a British inquest into the death of Diana, princess of Wales, and his son Dodi, that the pair were murdered in a conspiracy that included the British royal family, secret service and government. (In passing he called the Duke of Edinburgh a “Nazi” whose name “ends with 'Frankenstein'.”) In fact the court proceedings are showing that the pair were the victims of their drunken chauffeur. Yet public hunger for far-fetched theories of all sorts is insatiable. The most frequent internet postings concern an alleged American-government role in the terrorist attacks of 2001. America features strongly with cover-ups of alien life, Elvis’s faked death and the Apollo moon missions.

I've never heard of the "Reptilian" conspiracy...it seems out of place with the other ones listed.

Well Area 51 exist, no idea what really goes on there. Sure the investigation of 911 sucked, the 1st responders got fucked pretty royally too. The NIST should hurry and give us a real reason why WTC 7 collapsed in 6 seconds. Elvis' limelight was gone already, if anything he was depressed for it being gone. The moon landing was debunked long ago, the flag is still on the moon, along with a mirror that we use to measure the distance with light. This was verified by telescope in Honolulu. Shakespeare, come on who cares? Da Vinci Code, well there's a lot of other people who say Jesus didn't even exist, so go figure. Reptiles that rule the earth, well if I was one of the few I sure wouldn't say anything. Interestingly this was the subject of a Rowdy Roddy Piper movie in the 80's called "They" I believe. AID's well it's possible, but at this point it doesn't matter much. JFK, well that's a tough one for me, my Grandmother was one of the ones who was in Dealy plaza at the time. She told me and everyone else she knew she heard at least 6 shots if not more that day and she heard them from all over the place. Yes and the Dallas Police along with the FBI didn't accept her statement and told her she heard 3 shots. So am I to go along with the official story and call my Grandmother a liar? Yes indeed a tough one.
Diana who knows.
Time to have a beer for the skeptics!

All the other ones at least have pseudo-science and/or pseudo-historicism behind it; Lizard Men that secretly rule the world...sounds like a movie script Ed Wood never got around to filming.

Didn't you see the start of the fourth season of Enterprise (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0244365/), where some Xindi reptilians went back in time to WWII to control mankind's development?
Season 4, Episode 1: Storm Front: Part 1
Original Air Date: 8 October 2004
Enterprise seems to have traveled back in time to World War Two, but it's not the World War that we are used to.
Season 4, Episode 2: Storm Front: Part 2
Original Air Date: 15 October 2004
After Silik attacked Trip, Vosk wants to make a deal with Archer: supplies of the ship for the completion of his time machine in return for a trip to the 22nd century.
We all know science fiction becomes real, so it must be true! Maybe some are still alive today?
I think these theories all come from people of good imagination. Too bad they believe such corny things.
Yes, Area 51 is real, and we do know it to be a secret testing ground. If that includes extra terrestrial UFO's is yet to be proven to any degree that counts. Yet... that one I believe is likely. The rests of those conspiracy theories are ridiculous.

When LSD first came out some people who took it would claim that they saw most people as regular humans, but others as human-like reptiles. And they said that it was always the same people. I'm guessing that's the origin of that urban legend. Did I mention LSD? :lol

Bleh, Enterprise just stole scripts from all of the previous Star Trek shows like Next Generation, DS9 and Voyager. Voyager already had an episode with lizard aliens who dressed like WWII Nazis.

What about the shuttle Columbia disaster conspiracy theory? Or the figure on Mars?

The "reptilian" references are actually code talk amongst anti-semites to characterize "zionists." It allows the theories to be spread in the light of day, without interference by the Anti-Defamation League.

Its not conspiracy. Its widely known. The ADL has tried to out this tactic for decades.

I know of at least one website where that is not the case.
There are a group of UFO believers that follow David Icke that believe it to be quite literal.

I've never heard of that one either, or the Shakespeare one...
I need to catch up on my CTs.

I can't believe the Elvis one is so high still. Even if it were true, it's by far the least truly meaningful or consequential one on the list. A washed up former celebrity sneaks away from the limelight at the point in his life when he was least relevant? Who cares? He'd probably be dead by now anyway.

If you look at how many followers that Icke can pull at a speaking engagement (1000+ all over the world), you quickly realize that the message is not about spaceships but its about anti semites gathering to reinforce their beliefs.
If it were just about reptile people, Icke would be hard pressed to sell out a Holiday Inn conference room.

Belief in UFOs is a stalking horse for anti-semitism, pure and simple. Never heard that one before.

Good thing for you no one ever suggested belief in banking conspiracies is antisemitic. That would be a pretty hard rep to shake.

Who would dispute that bankers bottom line is maximizing profits? Who would dispute that the big bankers in charge of our currency are using that power to maximize profits? Where is the conspiracy? And how is that phenomena relegated to Jews?
Try again. Or better yet, dont. :nope
