no, I want someone to bring home those guys in Iraq as soon as possible. I am tired of seeing 18-25year old young men coming back with no arms and legs.(I work at BAMC)

Barak seems like he has a real shot to end this thing quick...and that is all that matters at this point. With the war over we can shore up our economy by bringing back that $1 billion a week we are spending there.

then we can work on the dollar and over printing of money.

...but waging a war for assholes who are deperate to control what is left of the remaining oil reserves, and make deals with the kings/puppet dictators of these countries in that region, has to stop....yesterday.

....my rationale.

P.S. I am still a registered republican.....so those mccain supporters better make him let go of this Iraq/Iran bullshit or he is going to lose.

I thought it was your first vote of the year that determines your party affiliation for the rest of the year. In other words, if you vote in the Democratic primary, you are "marked" Democrat for that year and cannot vote in a Republican primary later that year.

As far as I understand, you vote in the primary of your own party (how you register) and cannot vote in a different party primary for 2 years.

I can't remember whether I had to register for a party when I registered to vote. I found this on the Secretary of State's website

Do I register by Party in Texas?

No. Party affiliation is established in several ways; the most common methods are by voting in the party’s primary election, or taking the party oath of minor parties holding conventions. But unlike many other states, you don’t register to vote by party.

I registered at the RNC website. When I voted no one asked, so I didn't tell. The general election is open and you can vote any way you want. I just can't vote in the Republican Primary....which I don't intend to.

Same thing.

I want a patriot in charge of this country...someone who will put it, and it's citizens first...not some asshat that plays lipservice to political correctness and has some inane delusion that the world would be a peaceful place if only we weren't such assholes.

If it was up to me...he wouldn't even be allowed to President of the USA for that picture right there...that's everything I despise about the left right there. Because it's stupid and naive...and history is fraught with this type of fool...

Allow me to offer you a bit of advice(and looking at the political situation in your country, you are in dire need of it)...

There is no such thing as a good honest politician...
You show me a good honest man...I'll show you a shitty politician who is going to get played used and abused by the worst elements in the governmental structure....and get left holding the bag after the people that put him in office have been royally fucked.

There are just varying degrees and different types of corruption in those that understand and know how to play the game....and are thus qualified for the filth that is politics...those that can see the worst elements for what they are will not stoop to that absolute lowest level...

Given that, you probably won't get a non-fool who is honest in there...

You have two choices of corruption...

A. Those that are corrupt and won't shit where they eat...

B. Those that are corrupt and will...

A is better...it's just that simple.

I want a patriot in charge of this country...someone who will put it, and it's citizens first...not some asshat that plays lipservice to political correctness and has some inane delusion that the world would be a peaceful place if only we weren't such assholes.Well I'm not quite sure what the context of that picture is, but I am quite patriotic when it comes to my country and I've NEVER, I mean NEVER raised my hand to my heart during the national anthem. Besides, you think Hillary is more patriotic than Obama? seriously? I get that a lot of people won't vote for him, that's democracy, but I'd like to think those people are doing so because of real concerns with his agenda, and not simply because he failed to raise his hand during an anthem.

Besides, you think Hillary is more patriotic than Obama? seriously? I get that a lot of people won't vote for him, that's democracy,

He's either..

A. Generally being honest and too stupid to realize he needs to be doing it.(This would qualify him as a naive fool...of actually the worst kind since he's not even the Pro-American type of naive fool).

B. Corrupt and kegitimately doesn't think he needs to put his heart to his chest because he doesn't serve this country. And thus he's the corrupt kind who will shit where he lives.

but I'd like to think those people are doing so because of real concerns with his agenda, and not simply because he failed to raise his hand during an anthem.

Oh I think picture pretty much nails his agenda, in facxt I know it does...he's been pretty honest about serving the world...and it doesn't surprise me that the world would love to see him do that.

Obama is not some pureheart guy...the guys that try to portray that image are always the furthest ones from being it....these are the same douchebags that tell all the poor people that communism can save them...and have royally screwed those countries up.

But even if he is....he's not even the Pro American kind...and that's the worst kind of fool.

As for Hilary...she may not be anymore patriotic than Obama...but she's at least smart enough to act like she is...which means she's more adept at the political game...

The fool is worse...

That's assuming you take something as meaningless as not raising your hand to your chest during an anthem as a sign of blatant unpatriotic (if that's a word) behavior. I love my country very much, I just don't believe an anthem or a flag is the be all and end all of what being a patriot is all about. One can care for the people and not feel particularly strong about what is essentially just a symbol.

I do agree one of Obama's many talking points throughout his campaign has been improving world opinion of the US. Personally, I don't see that as a bad thing, but I can understand if you think there are more important things to focus on.

In Teaxs you can vote in either primary. The only thing is- if there is a run off, you can not vote in the run off for the other party. Now, if you never voted in either primary and there is a run off, you can vote in whichever run off you want.

There are people who intentionally vote in the other party's primary. In this case, there could be Republicans who figure McCain has the nomination sown up, and so instead they go vote in the Democratic primary for the person they think they can beat in November.

You know what bud...if the President isn't going to put this country first, no one else is either...difference is, I don't expect others leaders to do it.

If you are correct, I hope to be able to hear your take after
he takes all your rights away with his socialist "rule". You
had better hope that he has a congress strong enough to
keep him in check. He has some real plans for you and I
and I don't think you will like them after the new wears off
his halo.
