I trust in the spurs - and I will always will. There were a lot that have been said about the spurs inability to make right decision about their rosters. This is false. The truth is, the spurs are truly a classy organization. They just don't make the right decisions - they make it at the right time. They waited how everything will play out in the west before they made the deal with seattle. For this, my admiration of the spurs grew even more.
The spurs acquisition of Kurt Thomas has received a great deal of applause and admiration from different NBA analyst and writers. They say that it was a Win- Win solution to the spurs' problems. They now have a reliable defender in the middle -against the giants of the west.
Financially, they get to save money for themselves. And who knows, we might see the second coming of Brent after his contract expires next season (or earlier in case of a buy out from seattle).
I applaud the FO for doing this, I know some fans may want a different deal , but I think the FO has done a great job. I think all doubts regarding spurs ability to make the right moves might have been sidelined (at least for a while) . In reality though, the wisdom of the trade is yet to be tested. I just hope, that by dispensing with one of our sharp shooter, we can still find our way to another championship.
Now the question that be-face all of us spurs fan is - do you BELIEVE? Did they make the right move?
If you do...welcome to the TITS! :lol :lol :lol :lol
