Yeah the Spurs already do push the ball, i just said yes because i love it when they push the ball up the court.

More oppotunities for points with our quickness and ability to finish with Tony, Manu, Barry, etc.

One thing that you'll notice about when the Spurs run: they finish. None of this long jumper, or three pointer shit. You can get that in the half court, and if you miss, you set up a mismatch running opportunity back at you. Run? Yes. Gun? No.

well, that is tough, to be honest i have never eally bilieved in the spurs' offensive capabilites after the 2003 season, at which time they could shoot IMO much better, and i feel like anytime the halfcourt, Tony and Manu dip and pass thing is working our whole team stagnates, for this reason i am in favor of anything giving us more options to score.

I just wonder if we can do it, tony for some reason holds onto the damn ball to long when he is running, and then when he cant finish, he doesn't pass but slows it down, pure stupidity.

With more fouls being called on perimeter hand-checking, scoring is up this year, however, the Spurs are much more prolific in the scoring dept., while dishing out over 23 assists per game.

exstatic nails it: We run, but pull it back when an obvious layup isn't there. Hell, Parker is a one-man fast break alone (impressed with how he finishes). The team pushes in flurries, but it's not necessary to score points. But it does put a lot of pressure on opposing defenses.

Horry hit a big three against Indiana because the ball was pushed up and then pulled out. The defense had not yet set.

We need Tony P to become a master at tempo and be able to recognize when he can run and when he needs to slow down and go to Tim, like Magic did with the Lakers. You got the best big man in the NBA and your not going to go to him? I just don't see it.

Nothing runs faster than the ball. The Spurs should pass more on the break (instead of running with the ball).

Actually, I've notice this year that they are snapping deeper outlets off the defensive rebounds, which is the best way to start breaks.

A lot of their outlets are now to guards almost near midcourt.
