Please, Tmac-Yao Rockets have to yet get out of the first round before they command any fear or postseason respect.

NOLA, LA, PHX and the two teams in the East are the only ones that make me wonder.
TMAC/"Can I write a cheque" don't stir any fear

Scared of the Rockets?
In a single game, maybe.
In a 7-game series, nope.

Well this isn't the robot team that JVG coached. It's a new day.
This is a Rick Adleman coached team that actually knows how to play motion offense and how to use his athletes to the best of their abilities.

How can you not be scared of Scola?
He puts up 8 points and 9 rebounds on All Star Forwards....do you think performances like that happen every day?
8 points
9 rebounds
Deal with those mf'n numbers right there...if the sheer excellence of those numbers doesn't scare you...I don't know what will.
Luis fucking Scola baby...the definition of fear.

I wouldn't go to sleep on them, but not really. Plus they got rid of some of their depth (in two scorers) for a dunker.

Houston is one of those teams that nobody wants to face in the first round.
Forget about last year where they lost to a very good Utah team by inches. Not the same team, but they have some playoff experience now.
Mainly They are much improved talent wise (Scola, Landry) and Adelman has built on the good defensive club that Van Gundy put together.
This recent win streak is no fluke and you can see this team's growing confidence in themselves. Are they still in the bottom four of the West? Yes, but the difference between #8 and #1 is narrowing.
