At a recent WWE event in Phoenix the wrestler Shawn Michaels was present.

"Shawn Michaels passed through the throng of reporters waiting for the Suns' practice to wrap up and asked loudly, "Oh, the Phoenix Suns are practicing in there? They don't have three championships!" Michaels is a long time San Antonio Spurs fan and, at least at one point, was a Spurs season ticket holder."
Thought this was funny, guess old HBK forgot we had four lol

He was going to games back in the early-mid 90's...I know because I would see him there.

Bret's mic skills were severely underrated and were actually pretty good just not like Michael's who's were excellent. But mic skills are only part of it, you gotta have charisma and talent to make your matches exciting or people aren't going to watch. Last I checked Bret had the biggest worldwide fanbase of anyone not named Hulk Hogan, although I never understood what the big deal was about him.

When talking about the current run for a dynasty, I don't count the 1999 championship. TD, TP, Manu, and Bowen were all together for the '03, '05, and '07 championships and will be for the '09, making it 4 in 7 seasons.

HBK was the shit back in the day. I went to the Royal Rumble in 97 in San Antonio at the Alamodome and that place went absolutely batshit crazy when he came out, it was intense.
He may have gotten the number of championships wrong but at least he knows that the Suns suck, and that is what's important.

I always wanted to see an HBK/Rock rivalry. Sucks that never happened. Rock/Austin WM 17 was the best match in history IMO. The ending was what made it even great. Then the WCW/ECW Invasion happened and wwe/wwf declined.

please..........bret hart has nothing on Michaels in ring skills. Michaels is way better than the excellence of execution. Hart had no personality.....hell, even Lance Storm thought Hart had no personality. Bret Hart also, couldn't sell bumps the way Michaels did and still does. Shawn is one of the best at selling bumps I have ever seen. I wish John Cena would learn to be half the salesman Michaels is....
Hell, I would put Stone Cold and the Undertaker above Hart as far as in ring prowess.....Stone Cold may have been a brawler, but if he had to, he could be quite the technician.......as evidenced in his feud with Chris Benoit. The Undertaker is simply the best wrestling Big Man of all time.
BTW.........Sting was using the Scorpion Death Lock before Hart was using the Sharpshooter......
of course the best wrestler of all time is Ric Flair. No one could carry a match like Flair. No one had the in ring charisma like Flair. No one had the mic skills of Flair. He was the best.
