Yeap, Manu does that with a purpose, not just because.

Its amazing how often he gets away with it, even against some of the best players in the world. Im still waiting for the day when he goes between the legs of 2 or even 3 people consecutively on one play. :lol

These are great to watch. Manu does the between the legs thing more than anyone I've watched in the NBA over 30 yrs. He sees that opening more than anyone else.

The turnovers on some of his bad passes tho...

I just wish he'd stick to bounce passes, his baseball passes get deflected or intercepted way too often.

a chess genius often sees openings that not everyone can see. in basketball, what manu is doing is something akin to a basketball genius. i love watching manu, his sick passes, and his overall competitive nature. Because of these, i therefore conclude that the spurs are BORING.

I haven't seen that one. Here's an older compilation. If you look at the 2:31 mark, Manu goes behind the back twice. His plays are just :dizzy.

Man I cannot imagine the level of hype he would have if he was playing on the east coast.

If Manu got picked up by a large market team instead of us, he probably wouldn't have been stigmatized with the flopping by the parrots.

The label would haunt him only as much as it does Nash or Robert Horry, "everyone does it" kinda thing.

If Nash or Kobe made the exact same plays, everybody would be like " Oh My Gawd !!!!! "

This is his Argentinean soccer heritage coming out.

One of the most star-defining tricks a soccer player can make is an auto-pass through the legs of the opposing player.
This is particularly true with Argentinean soccer players, as they always want to show how good they are. Many of them do it just for the joy of the beautiful game, other just to show off.
In Manu's case, I think is the first one.

I can't recall many instances where Manu tried to go between the legs without some success resulting from it, whether just simply advancing the ball down court or making a move to the basket or pass to a teammate.
