I didn't see this posted yet.

NEW YORK, Feb. 25, 2008 – The Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and the San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Tuesday, Feb. 19 through Sunday, Feb. 24.

During a 3-1 week for the Cavaliers, James recorded back-to-back triple-doubles (Feb. 19 vs. Houston and Feb. 20 at Indiana) and averaged a triple-double (28.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 10.5 assists) over Cleveland’s four games. James became the first player since Magic Johnson in 1988 to record triple-doubles on consecutive days twice in the same season, as he previously posted back-to-back triple-doubles on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25. For the week, James led the Eastern Conference in assists, was third in rebounding and fourth in scoring.

Ginobili guided the Spurs to a 3-0 week, averaging 30.7 points, 6.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds. Ginobili, who leads the Spurs in scoring at 20.7 ppg, hit the game-winning jumper against the Timberwolves on Feb. 21, to cap a 44-point night. Over his last five contests (all victories), Ginobili shot .640 (55-for-86) from the field and .591 (26-of-44) from three-point range. Also during his last five games, Ginobili has two 40-point efforts (at Cleveland on Feb. 13 and at Minnesota on Feb. 21), and set career highs in rebounds (15 at Toronto on Feb. 21) and assists (12 vs. New Orleans on Feb. 23)

I usually see this types of articles posted. I haven't seen it posted yet. It is just nice to see Manu get some recognition for that great stretch of games, after being left out of the ASG.

Since you want to be a smart ass, the Earth isn't totally round, it is more of an oval, its diameter is wider at the equator than it is at the poles.

Manu Ginobili deserved this honuor. He played unbleivable. Also LeBron was good to take the honour.
