Here's what was there:

ESPN -
After signing a contract with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, Jamaal Magloire hopes to debut against the Spurs on Thursday, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.

He was scheduled to practice with his new team on Wednesday after agreeing to a pro-rated share of the veteran’s minimum of $1.03 million.

“I’ve never seen a guy work so hard when he isn’t playing,” Kidd told ESPN.com of Magloire, who was his teammate in New Jersey just a week ago

Magloire signs with Mavs, hopes to debut Thursday
By Marc Stein
ESPN.com

Jamaal Magloire flew into Dallas on Tuesday night after clearing waivers and signed a contract with the Mavericks for the rest of the season.

Magloire is scheduled to practice with the Mavericks on Wednesday and will be available to make his debut Thursday night in San Antonio in Dallas' first game against the Spurs since acquiring Jason Kidd. He signed for a pro-rated share of the league's $1.03 million veteran minimum.

The 29-year-old was waived by New Jersey on Friday after the trading deadline passed and, according to NBA front-office sources, immediately established Dallas as his preferred destination. Signing a veteran center was likewise Dallas' top priority in the wake of the Kidd trade after being forced to send DeSagana Diop to New Jersey, leaving Erick Dampier as its only true center.

Although he was expected to supply the Nets with some much-needed bulk and experience on the front line, Magloire only managed to get into 24 games for the Nets, averaging a mere 1.8 points and 3.4 rebounds.

Magloire has struggled to find a niche since earning a surprise spot on the Eastern Conference All-Star team in 2004, lasting just one season each in Milwaukee and Portland before signing a one-year deal with the Nets last summer worth $4 million. But the recent influx of size in the Western Conference after a flurry of trades this month apparently created a new job market for him.

"I've never seen a guy work so hard when he isn't playing," Kidd told ESPN.com on Monday night in Dallas of Magloire. The two were Nets teammates as recently as a week ago.

Signing Magloire without cutting into their mid-level exception left the Mavericks in the strongest financial position of the teams trying to sign veteran guard Brent Barry, who was waived last week by Seattle after the Sonics acquired him, Francisco Elson and a 2009 first-round pick in a swap with San Antonio for Kurt Thomas.

Sources said Barry is also considering Phoenix, Houston, Boston and Golden State as well as a return to the Spurs, who would have to wait 30 days to re-sign him, according to league rules. But Dallas can pay Barry more than any of the teams in the hunt.

It's the 4th time today he posts news like that with only a link to this unknown basketball site.

I guess that he is related to this website and wants to draw some traffic on it. It's a kinda lame tactic even more that he puts only links and these stories are just cut/paste from another source (espn for this article).

Yeah, every story there seems to be from somewhere else.
The preview for the Spurs/Mavs game didn't even have the author credit, I had to go elsewhere to post it with the article.

Yes, the Spurs are old, but that's kind of a low blow towards the boys in silver and black, isn't it?

The Duncan Stopper® is 29 years old. Horry, Finley, Vaughn, Thomas, Stoudamire and Bowen are all 34 and older.

too bad.

We'll see how he does. Notice no Mav fans have said anything about him being a dominant force or able to stop Duncan, other than in jest. For the vet minimum, he's not a better low-post option that Juwan Howard, Malik Allen and Brandon Bass? He's not a savior, just a decent waiver pickup.

Why do you keep posting stories by linking to some obscure blog rather that has copied news from elsewhere? Do you own the blog and you are just trying to generate page views?

Either way, just post the original source, not some odd blog.

Thanks.

What does that even mean?

No, seriously. Please explain. Last I checked, Magloire was 6 (count them--SIX) years younger than KT.

Who has "heartbeat," again?

my grandma is way older than 29. my son is 12 years old but it doesn't mean he can do jackshit against duncan. what does age have to do with it?

lemme explain then. when was the last time magloire showed any sign of life?
