Henry Abbott has linked to a documentary about African hoops produced by Anne Buford, R.C.'s sister.

I know his family and he is working with this guy named LEXI who he adopted. He is playing at UT. Ive met him before and seen him play hes talented.

Africa has a great future in the basketball. They really lack of structure but they have a lot of youth, size and athleticism.

AFAIK, Dallas is the nba team with biggest links in Africa. They have even opened a basketball school in Senegal. Saer Sene (lottery pick drafted by Seattle) went to that school.

For the moment, it's not really interesting for a nba to scout Africa. When there i sa promising young African player, he goes in Europe or in NCAA. Scouting European leagues and college is enough for NBA teams.
