So I've had this cough and cold for the past week or so. The cough is pretty bad and loud and annoying. I have a runny nose. That's it.

But due to the cough I've vomited 4-6 times in the past 24 hours, do I need to go to the doctor or the emergency room to get some meds? I've used Nyquil and Robitussen and some cough drops, but they don't do jack shit.

What do you mean due to the cough? Like you coughed so hard you vomited?

It's right after I eat something and I continue coughing and I guess it upsets my stomach and a 15-20 coughs later they end up being vomit.

:lol hopefully not. get treated. If you really feel you can wait to go to the doctor, but if its just getting worse than go to the ER.

You are probably just gagging from coughing and puking; sometimes it helps to use something like Chloroseptic to numb your gag reflex. This junk that's going around has been lingering longer than usual. I say if you aren't asthmatic or have fever, you don't need to see a doc. Keep up the Nyquil/Robitussin and drink LOTS of fluids!

If you've got a fever over say, 102 then get to a doc, maybe a 24 hr clinic. I'd still see a doc tomorrow.

Thanks for the help. The doctor said it was a combination of what Spursfan09 and Mrsmaalox said. He gave me some stuff and now I'm not coughing as bad, but this all happened before I wasted my money and took the medicine. :pctoss
