I was registered last election in Houston and did not realize I needed to switch that until it was too late to participate in the primaries.

Glad you got to vote. Are you going to go back for the caucus?

That sucks! Don't forget to get that absentee thing taken care of for the general election. I messed that stuff up in 2004 when I was in Seguin.

I hope I'll make it there in time, I don't finish work until 7.

I went to my polling place at 7:15 and there was a line out the door. I went back home and returned at 8:15 and nobody was in line. If you are going to vote today, get there as early as possible.

I went about 9:30 and there were about 8 people in front of me. Not too bad.

I voted this morning and was a little disappointed that there were just a few people at the same time.

Here comes the shameless self-promotion, but we're going to be blogging today and beyond (well, politics today) at http://www.ksat.com/brokennews. Come check us out.

That is not shameless self promotion; thank you for wanting to keep us informed and more importantly, thinking :)

Joe, being the Obama fan that you are, I don't know if you knew about this... Obama people are handing out preferred tickets for the downtown rally for people that go caucus. I don't know where or how, but it's something for you to watch out for.

Sonia, you can upload them here, too. We're looking for any pics related to the primary.

I live down the street from Joe Ward so when they mentioned on the news that he'd be there in 10 minutes I hurried out the door. They kept telling us "he's going to stand right here and give a speech" so a bunch of us waited right next to that spot but when he showed up everybody (media included) ran to the car in the middle of the street. So, few us of waited in the designated spot but after about 10 minutes I tried to go see if I could get closer since he wasn't moving toward us. Good thing I did because he started to leave. Being short sucks because I couldn't get a picture of him up close so I went around his car/SUV and waited where the Secret Service guys had the door open waiting for him. Luckily there was a lady in a wheelchair in front of me so I knew nobody else would stand there and he came up to get in his car with a big crowd and stood right there shaking hands, taking pics and so on. I didn't get a pic with him because of the lady in the wheelchair but that's ok, I did shake his hand and got these pictures and a thumbs up.

I voted last friday for early voting. I found it rather ridiculous a bit. The line was moving so slow because of the old people who were working the machine. This lady behind me had no idea how to vote. They even asked her if she was voting democrat or republican and she had no clue.

Early voting ftl.

Hey Sonia, how 'friendly' was Slick Willy?

Well, for the few minutes I was close to him a pretty woman (IMO) asked to take a picture with him and he did but i didn't see him feeling her up. lol But then again they were against the car and I couldn't see his right hand so you never know. :spin

I sent a msg to my friend telling her I met him and she asked me if I slept with him. :lol

Duff, there wasn't a long line today but I agree about the lines going so slow because of the old people working the lines. Goodness.. slow slow slow!

I waited later than I should have and went to vote about 3:30 and got caught in an amazing parking lot gridlock. Took about an hour. Then this evening I returned to Caucus about 9:15pm, was the last person to sign, and got home before 9:30.
