This is the first leg of a grueling schedule in March.

Thu 06 vs Indiana 7:00pm
Fri 07 @ Denver 9:30pm
Sun 09 @ Phoenix 2:30pm
Mon 10 vs Denver 7:30pm
Wed 12 @ New Orleans 7:00pm
Fri 14 @ Detroit 7:00pm
Sat 15 @ Philadelphia 6:00pm
Mon 17 vs Boston 7:30pm

8 games, 3 back to backs (2 of them with heavy travel), 5 games on the road all in 11 days. Horrid schedule.

I would be very happy with a 6-2, and satisfied with a 5-3.

Opinions?

Spurs are going to lose 1 "stupid one" and it may be to a weaker team like the Sixers who are playing well right now but they will most likely win 6.

Looks like the schedule is giving Denver a great advantage to sink us! They're twice on the second game of back to backs!

I would be thrilled with anything 5-3 or better but it feels like a 4-4 stretch to me. The Nuggets, Hornets and Suns need these games too much and will be fighting hard on their homecourt where as we will be pretty fatigued. I can't wait for the Boston game on Sunday...

I'll say 6-2 but there are a lot of toss up games there. At the Suns, Pistons and Hornets, Back to Backs with the Nuggets, Home for Boston. :pctoss

The 1 seed will likely be won or lost on this section of games right here and the Spurs are fighting an uphill battle.

Just to compare, Lakers next 8 games are.

Fri 07 vs LA Clippers
Sun 09 vs Sacramento
Tue 11 vs Toronto
Fri 14 @ New Orleans
Sun 16 @ Houston
Tue 18 @ Dallas
Thu 20 @ Utah
Fri 21 vs Seattle

Toughest games there are all on the road for them in Hornets. Houston, Dallas and Utah. So that is no picnic either. We are one better in the loss column right now then the Lakers.

Houston, Dallas, NO & Utah, I think.

It seems like each time someone makes a poll like this, the Spurs end up losing games they should win. I want them to win all eight. I say they will.

How I see it:

Thu 06 vs Indiana 7:00pm W
Fri 07 @ Denver 9:30pm L
Sun 09 @ Phoenix 2:30pm L
Mon 10 vs Denver 7:30pm W
Wed 12 @ New Orleans 7 L
Fri 14 @ Detroit 7:00pm L
Sat 15 @ Philadelphia 6:00pm W
Mon 17 vs Boston 7:30pm W

Indiana plays Houston the night before us,
Denver has a night off before each of the 2 games we play against them.
Phoenix has a night off before we play them
New Orleans has 3 nights off before we play
Detroit has a night off before we play
Philly is in Chicago the night before we play them
and Boston has a night off before we play.

4-4

The Spurs will go on a cold streak and drop all eight games. They'll be in the lottery. Book it.

I have a bad feeling about that Phoenix game. We suck in afternoon games, and beating the Spurs is just what the Suns need for people to think they've turned their season around.

probable losses coming against the pistons in detroit and the second denver game. although that phoenix game being played at 2:30 isn't really looking good either. but, hey... its the suns!
