The road to a Championship has to go through San Antonio in the West and through Detroit in the East. As painfull as this is for an avid Suns Fan, There is no denying that you will have to prove yourself against the Defending Championship Spurs at some point before you can claim yourself the best team(This includes you Laker Fan). More often than not, most rational Suns Fans know this and would probably consider their season a success if they could beat the Spurs in a 7 game series. Even if that meant not making it to the second round or even Western Conference Finals.

Whoops - Sorry, asleep at the wheel here. I meant Western Conference Finals or NBA Finals
