He's a pretty solid pickup for this late in the season. He was recently waived by the Utah Flash after Boston sent down Gabe Pruitt and they had to cut someone to get down to 12. It's pretty much like picking up another Cheyne Gadson. Hopefully Ian and/or Eric Dawson are playing tonight, but they probably wouldn't have too much of a problem going small against Albuquerque.

Barrett isn't doing a lot with Clippers. Maybe they won't keep him and he will soon be back in Austin.

Yeah, that's the only curious part of this. If Barrett and Dawson both come back, someone will have to go (that is, if Paulino isn't already gone for some reason -- he wasn't with the team Wednesday).

It's just a minor league site, but it's pretty cool since players, owners and staff from the various independent leagues post there from time to time.

That and the occasional informational post on SR are my only indiscretions.
