Horry slightly hurt. Here's where Mehmet takes Rasho to school.

No excuses. We lost because our defense has sucked for the last 2 games.

All those in here that said it was ok to win with offense.... THIS game is why you can't rely on offense to win. As if Dallas hasn't already proved that for many years now.

Getting beat by a severely undermanned Utah team that has lost 9 straight is goddamn ridiculous.

Well to be fair if our offense looked anything like it had the last several games, we'd be up by double figures.

How many assists did we have tonight? Eight?

Paging Whottt, and Aggie, paging whottt and aggie.

Defense FIRST.

OFFENSE SECOND.

This game proved it.

IMO, the team looks bored and not motivated.

Unforgiveable.

The team, is moving away from its defense first mentality, and THAT will kill this season if its not fixed.

BTW,

Wake the fuck up Tim Duncan, do you have clue one about rebounding?

Like Sean Elliott said, they are making there shots, but the defense stinks.

Thats what lost.

Poor rebounding and poor defensive intensity.

So what does our shitty defense have to do with offense TPark? We probably had a season low in assists tonight.

Offense and defense aren't mutually exclusive, the Lakers title teams of late and Detroit last year proved that.

The Spurs lack of assists was certainly a big problem. Along with not hitting the glass, not boxing out, and defending like crap a lot of the game. Focus. It's all about focus.

Yep. Eisley lit Manu's fire there late in the fourth, and I thought Manu was going to pull it out, but he had that out of control baseline play, then got crosschecked by Horry on our last possession.

Yeah he sure could learna thing from that T Park guy, he has got to be one of the most accomplished rebounders to ever sit in a forum and bitch at a star player

As I said in another thread...

Sheeeeet... the Spurs drop this one while shooting at a very high percentage.

FG%: SAN .541 -- UTH .486
Shooting better than opponent 26-1 15-0 11-1

The difference in this game, +6 steals, +4 off rebounds and -4 TOs gave the Jazz 13 more attempts than the Spurs. The Jazz brought more energy to the game.

The last possesion by the Jazz gives you an idea of the game.... Tim Duncan goes for the deffensive rebound and misses, Okur gets the offensive rebound, the basket and the win. Neither Horry nor Duncan boxed out Okur in the last play. We were outhustled by the Jazz.

Offense wasnt the problem.

Defense, and lack of giving a shit was.

Seems to be a problem with this team.

They seem to need good teams or high pressure situations to play great.

ALA Vs Minnesota in the second half, against Phoenix.

It seems bad teams in the early season, who they are supposed to blow out, seem to be pains in the butt.
