The fact that Boston can forfeit their remaining games and still make the playoffs shows how much the East sucks

The Celtics and the Pistons having the two best records in the entire league for the entire season so far shows how bad the East sucks.

yes, hammering the knicks and the heat on a daily basis surely looks tough isnt it?

The East sucks in terms of depth, past the first four teams.

The top 4 teams in the East (Boston, Detroit, Orlando, Cleveland) have a record of 13-10 against the top 4 teams in the West (Lakers, San Antonio, New Orleans, Utah).

Utah has been good against those teams. If you take Utah out of that equation, the Lakers, Spurs, and Hornets are 5-11 against Boston, Detroit, Orlando, and Cleveland.

Nice way to spin stats to make it look more compelling.

Cleveland won't even be in the playoffs in the West. And I doubt Orlando will have the record it has if they were in the West.

So Suns and Jazz play well against the top teams in the East, and the rest of the top Western Conference teams play about even or don't fare well. Ok.

What spinning? Those are the respective records. What spinning did I do?

The top four teams in the East are pretty good. There are a couple average teams and the rest is trash. Cleveland's current record wouldn't put them in the playoffs in the West but they'd be dangerous to any WC team if they meet in the playoffs simply because LeBron has been that great.

I chose the top four teams in each conference because admittedly the East only has four better than average teams. Don't know where the spinning happened.

So Jamstone thinks the East doesn't suck?

West teams have been, and are going to continue being exhausted. The East schedule and games make for a healthier and more rested team. Easier to get up for the few big games during regular season.

Imho, by the time any Western Conference team makes the finals...Boston will just walk over their bruised and battered corpses.
