I'm still not impressed with the stupid Rockets who are now on a 14-0 run. You're just feeding off lucky shots and confidence and home crowd energy.
I think NOH sucks but I want Houston's streak to end tonight.

Wow, jacking up threes.
That won't work in the playoffs.

theres a reason they score 0 points while we score 14 points in that run...

So Houston is better without Yao ?
Can i have some explanations from rockets fans ?
Why are you still great without him ?

you mean hitting wide open shots and having one of the best defenses in nba? nah that never wins anything.

they were kicking ass with yao too let's not forget that. the one single thing that stands out is rafer's play ever since t-mac got hurt earlier in the year. i don't know what light turned on in rafer's head but i don't ever want to see it turn off. other than that it is t-mac being healthy, everyone else running adelman's offense, and we can't forget scola and landry. chemistry is an amazing thing.
on a side note....jesus christ chris paul is amazing.

18 wins in a row is impressive no doubt but it don't mean shit in the playoffs. Ask Phoenix how thier 17 game win streak helped them in the playoffs against the Spurs. For that matter see Dallas as well with the Warriors.

The Suns went to the second round didn't they? Also brought the Spurs to the brink, but those suspensions were crap.
By the way, neither the Mavs or Suns had an 18 game winning streak. The next in line is the Lakers (19), followed by the Bucks (20), then Lakers (33) again. All won championships...

Depends on the matchup but outside the Hornets I can't see them beating any other West team without Yao. I doubt Dikembe can keep up with Duncan,Amare,Boozer,Bynum or Dirk in a 7 game series. But we shall see

Well you're right, they would have a good chance against the Hornets. But they would lose to:
Lakers
Spurs
Jazz
Mavs
Suns
Warriors

uh sorry but we aint losing to the warriors.
prolly take 7 games to decide on the Mavs or the Suns
and we will give a good fight to the Jazz, the Spurs, and the Lakers. so u guys definitely dont wanna matchup with us in the first round.

While Houston is a good team and will be a tough out in the playoffs because thier defense will likely keep them in most games but I rather seem them in the first round as oppose to the Spurs,Jazz or Lakers.

A Suns matchup in the playoffs would be a godsend for the Rockets at this point. With that excuse for perimeter defense you guys have, McGrady, Alston, Head and Battier will probably make it a very short series.

The warriors did have their number but yao finally manned up last game and they snuck by us with yaos parade to the foul line at the end. Without yao now though it will be pretty interesting. The rockets like to play small for stretches now and the warriors are the masters of small ball.

Absolutely nothing-if you couldn't get it done with Yao, why can you now? The West is tougher than ever.
This is just my opinion, obviously I don't think they will win the NBA championship like some Rocket fans do :rolleyes

The Rockets are now constructed most similar to Eastern Conference Detroit Pistons. Defense, no dominant big in the center position. But somehow, they just keep winning.
