You better beat the freakin Nuggets damn it....my Mavs need the Nuggets and Warriors to lose a lot....plus we need the Spurs to stay the 2nd seed so the Mavs can play them in the first round :elephant
lol... yeah, we should tank the rest of the season :lol

Well ... with the Nugs playing with everything they've got to make the playoffs, and Los Espuelas sucking these days, I'd be loath to predict a Spurs victory.
Then again, the Nugs got kicked in Utah the other night, so maybe Los Spurs pull it out?

Spurs aren't showing anything.
Blase about the reg season is one thing, but have a little pride. The Spurs didn't need playoff intensity today to take a game from the shitty Suns.
Nuggs probably think the old Spurs will be tired, and would love to hand the Spurs a 3rd straight defeat.

How the fuck is it fair they we have to play the Nuggets twice in the last week and neither time they had to play the day before. What is this bullshit??? :madrun

Um, good. The Spurs should have played better and they could have gotten some rest. They fucking knew the schedule months ago; it's not anyone else's fault that they have to play Denver tomorrow. Man the fuck up and play to win. There'll be plenty of time to rest between games in the playoffs.

I'd start to worry if SA doesnt pound an overrated Denver squad.
Denver is an iso-team that doesnt move the ball well offensively. Defensively, they are just a disaster. Utah shredded them for 135 on 64% shooting!!!!

Utah shredded Phoenix for 126 on 57% shooting. Someone should be worried that the Spurs managed only 87 points against a team allowing about 120 a game since Shaq arrived in town.

Very true. I guess my take is that the Suns seem to want to play good D but just arent skilled enough (Nash being Nash, Amare with awful technique, Shaq being too old) but the Nuggets just seem so indifferent and clueless defensively.
SA was beaten pretty badly Denver a few nights ago so it's hard to see them not coming in with their A game.
Are the Suns really allowing close to 120 a game with Shaq? Good grief!

YES. Spurs will be tired.
YES. Spurs could have another loss.
Saying that, there are no real reasons to complain. Each NBA team has one or more thought stretch each year.
It's in March for Spurs this year. 11 games in 17 days. 18 in the month. For the record, Spurs never played in their recent history 18 games in one month.
I don't care about Spurs finishing with the 1st, 4th or 7th seed. With Dallas and Phoenix having a quite bad record, it's not sure that high seed = easy road.
Spurs have some margin on the 9th seed. It would be also quite good to avoid the 8th seed and a Lakers first round.

come on let's be real here the Spurs are never going to win again so let's look into next year :wakeup
I suppose you just don't know what you're speaking about!!! :frying:
We gotta keep our faith alive. The Spurs will never give up.
PS I have never see Manu wanting the ring more than this year!!!

No way the Spurs are losing tomorrow night. Duncan was pissed at himself at the end of the game for missing two easy layups and losing the game. Also, Pop is pissed off. The Spurs will bring it tomorrow night, especially since they played so poorly in the second half last time we played.
