by leaving Shaq and Stoudemire in the game with 5 fouls a piece with 6:00 minutes to go in the game. D'Antoni was right! The refs did not have the BALLS to give them a 6th foul!

I'd rather take the regular season loss than listen to any more asterisk bullshit out of PHX.

That might have been the only good coaching he's had so far this season.

So are you saying they MUST have fouled out then? I never thought, I as a Suns fan would hear such an argument from the Spurs. Some serious cry-babying.

Shaq hacked Ginobili and Duncan as well several times, he should have had his 6th. The blocking foul on Thomas was a horrible call, Stoudemire should have been out. BUT, I wouldn't have wanted the Spurs to win that way anyway so it doesn't matter now that I've calmed down about the loss a little bit. Spurs had their chances and they fucking choked like a bitch.

Coming from a Phoenix fan, that's what we call expert testimony. Sucks that you are right though.

How can you feel good about a game that was given to you? Not all Suns fans are morons though. Read what one of your fellow Suns fan wrote here http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89113. He knows what really happened. There are some ugly babies in Phoenix!

It is Duncan's fault not to take advantage of their foul trouble and to some extent he did not get the ball. But Duncan could have been aggressive when he had ball in hand.

Where's the love? The refs handed the Spurs a win in the WC semis last year....Is this a case of "what have you done for me lately?" :downspin:

Last I checked, it takes four games to win a series. I suppose the refs gave the other three to the Spurs also right?

Tim Duncan today defending Shaq and Stat........one personal foul....

I dont think the spurs can blame this on the refs; the chocking was huge IMO. Same like against Denver. No game closing art.

Its true at least Shaq shold have been given another foul and call it a night - he hacked people several times in the last 5 minutes but the loss wasn't there

If you want to call what he did against those two "defense" then that's fine by me but Tim basically bent over today and refused to do anything right on either end...but whatever.

BOTH shouldve fouled out. Stoudemire fouling Thomas and Shaq fouling Manu. Instead, the Suns get false hope for a bit, but still lose some games this week. GS and Sac are not easy games for these crap ass suns.

I think it's funny how we've lost two games in a row to two teams that have historically been our bitches in the playoffs.

You didn't hear that from the Spurs...you heard it from one Spurs fan. Big difference.

Agreed.

Who cares if the refs should have or should not have called something. Players still need to play and get the job done. You can't play as if you are expecting a call to be made. Blaming the refs is horseshit.

why even leave it up to the refs, makes plays involving them that are obvious fouls and it makes the ref's job easier.

Or just make a friggin play and not worry about that refs. they arent going to always call the game square. EVERY nba fan knows that....

Its an absolute joke that the refs did not call the 6th foul on Shaq. Shaq had at least three fouls in the last four minutes or so.
