Should've, or should have, not should of. I get tired of seeing this mistake. People spell the way they enunciate, and it's annoying.

End of rant.

Most of people here weren't high on this signing. I don't see why they will hate you.

When Stoudamire is on the court, the opposite PG has a 22.6 PER.
For reference, Nash has a 21.7 PER this year.
So Stoudamire atrocious defense turn the average backup PG into Steve Nash. :rolleyes

If Stoudamire doesn't improve and Pop stick with him as backup PG for the playoffs, I will be fucking pissed. :pctoss

We needed a warm body at the time, Vaughn will suffice for the playoffs.

Yup, we should not have signed Staudemire...

But we did sign-up Stoudamire.

Kind of like when people spell "you're" "Y-O-U-R."

I'm with you on this on. I can put up with people spelling "your" when they mean "you"re", but this mistake is indefensible.

I've been saying this for a while now. The backup PG position is very suspect. We need Bones back in a bad way......

I don't think the PG position killed us today, I think it's just lack of hunger by the team as a whole.

I don't get it, Vaughn has been very consistent in his role. Why can't people appreciate him?

Exactly.

DazedandDickless - as for the nitpicking of English, much of the English written here by native speakers is atrocious, and really, WHO GIVES A FUCK? Did you understand what they meant? Yes. Well, that is the purpose of communication, so back off. It's a message board fer christsakes!

It was good to have him when Parker and Barry were injured so our other guards weren't overworked. Once everyone is back? Eh.

I still remember back in the late 1990s/early 2000s when Portland's coach would bench Stoudamire in crunch time in the 4th quarter in the playoffs and play Greg Anthony, because Stoudamire's defense was so bad. :lol Anyone else remember that?

It was just a bad shooting night for a lot of people, and Manu turning the ball ova once or twice in the 4th. I didnt see any luck of hunger myself.

Damon is the worst defensive PG of the Popovich era. Putting him into the game is like dumping nitrous into the intake of the opposition offense.

Everything else being equal, he cant spread the floor like Barry can. It's hard to see right now, but the offense flowed a lot better with him out there as the PG.

Vaughn is a warm body out there, nothing more nothing less. We will need more come playoff time though.

Truth is, I don't mind Damon as a distributor. He can handle running set plays fairly well for a PG who is fairly new to the system.

I would rather he just not shoot unless it's last resort with the shot clock down.

I think the days of a scoring Damon are long over, and he should just come in to fill the stop gap when Parker rests.

I'd love to have a backup scoring PG, but it's just not happening this year, so let's keep Damon as a facilitator.

Parker and Manu should be able to handle things just fine. You put Stoudamire in just for a few minutes to rest these guys. If you play Damon more than that...well that's on Pop.
