I have been wondering this for some time now since it was included in the stat sheet...

Uhm... that was what i was thinking.
But how the hell is then possible some centers that play over 30 minutes have 0 etc.
How is this counted for then...
Maybe not the best person to point out... But Amare had 0 BAs tonight in over 30 min of game.

Its the stat you get when someone blocks your shot. Not the stat you get attempting to block a shot.
Amare had 0 BA because no one blocked any of his shots.

Blocked Attempt.
As in, your shot attempt was blocked. Or, He blocked my shot attempt.
I attempted to shoot some shots and was blocked.

BA column totals = BS column totals of the other team.

You're right I think it is blocks against, but it means the same thing.
