Hey Kori,

How reliable is that article about Rasho being traded. I never saw it coming- well other than in my worse nightmares. You are always good at sorting the fact from the fiction. What have you heard? I would hate to get myself all worked up and unhappy over nonsense. So I will wait and let you ruin my day if need be. =( Thanks for the help. =)

I have been a Rasho supporter since day ONE but I'm feeling different lately. If the trade with Chicago had gone through- I wouldn't have been disappointed.

Come on Rasho!

Right now, no one is interested. He was offered to Chicago for Eddy Curry, but the Bulls rejected the offer. He's still on the block however.

Angel, are you talking about the article in the Chicago paper saying that Spurs were interested in Tyson Chandler? The writer was just speculating that the Spurs had offered Rasho. No one knows anything for certain, but the Spurs are always looking to improve when they can. San Antonio talking to other teams about other players isn't something new. I think it happens all the time every season.

Pop said, I think it was last year about this time about Malik, that it's basically everybody is talking to everybody all the time. Very little of it ever pans out.

"At least up to the trading deadline"

Kinda pointless to pour time and energy into trading during the period when you can't do it from mid-Feb to end of June.

I'm beginning to wonder if Mouse=wolves009=LakerGod

It's been a pretty good identity disguise up to this point but there are some clues starting to show.

Damn, i don't know how a wolves fan would pass a Chandler or Curry for Kandi. Likewise with Rasho. Although i'd be hesitant to do a rasho for Curry deal, Curry has an attitude and i don't think that Pop is a player that knows how to deal with guys like that. I know Curry is supposed to be the hotter of the two but i'd rather take Tyson that him anyday.

Wolf fan talking smack on this thread = is like a rabid dog going after a dog in heat = he may as well do it, cause won't be another time. (translation your team is dying, so you may as well bring it now, won't be doing it in the Spring.)

Neither one of them are that hot to me.

Antonio Davis was ahead of Chandler on the depth chart.

Curry is Issac Austin Jr.

Once again, name me some centers the Spurs should trade Rasho for around the league, that are AVAILABLE!!!

Waiting for some names.

Rasho has back problems too if you count being spineless.

Funny, he had more of a spine against Sacramento and Utah than Malik Rose and Duncan.

But of course, that wouldn't fit everyone's agenda.

I dont love the guy, I think hes a good person, as is every guy on the Spurs.

But Im realistic.

For whats available, for what he is paid, hes fine.

Hes not gonna be David Robinson, or some guy thats gonna dunk and scream.

Hes a solid center who can rebound, defend, block shots, and when hes not in a headuphisass scoring slump, hes a decent shooter of the ball. his 4 years in Minnesota proved he can score, but on the Spurs, hes the 5th option.

He is what he is, a decent big man, who if you trade him away, are not gonna get a suitable replacement for what hes bein paid.

A lot of the criticism of late is not deserved. Just a fun fact: Against the Jazz, Rasho was the Spurs best performer at half time.
Despite that I haven't seen many posts calling out the other Spurs for their lack of performance. What I have seen is a plethora of posts ridiculing Rasho both on and off the court.

Thats all very well but the keyword here is half time, he hardly improved from here on in.

I don't want RASHO to be Drob............I just want him to be Theo Ratliff, Elton Brand or Luis Scola.......is that too much to ask?

Yes, Rasho is never going to be like any of those players, Brand is a franchise player for gods sake, and if you are insinuating that we should make a deal for brand.......

Scola on the other hand should come next year, but he is not a centre. They would have to move tim to C or bring him off the bench.

Finally T Park, being a homer is all good. I think we are all guilty of it sometimes, but if your starting C is GOING BACKWARDS from last season there are problems.

I'm not defending that point, nor his performance. I'm just saying that with a fact like that you'd think his teammates would have deserved at least half the posts he's getting. People just love to hate him I guess.
