I know his has been injured etc...
But I'm worried while looking his jumpers and fts he was more reliable last year...he was supposed to progress bla bla bla... but nothing and he's getting even worse...
He doesn't drive much and he isn't anymore the REAL TP 2007 FInal MVP baby, the best at finition,...
The playoffs are coming soon and with Paul getting better, deron getting better I'm little bit afraid...

You should be...

Both Deron and Chris are better overall players than Parker...

He's getting back into game shape and his jumper is looking better these last few games. His FT's suck - he's back to his old form - he even has his hand in the wrong place on the ball again.

But you can't really knock his offense today, he played well outside of the FTs. He even hit two 3's.

Yeah but I still believe that Tp has the potential to be the best scorer that's his game and that's what spurs need to win

Paul outplayed him and outhustled him...

(the boxscore doesn't really indicate reality)

You didn't watch the game. So what are you going by outside the boxscore?

Oh.. and Paul fully outplayed him - I didn't indicate otherwise. Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. We are talking about him getting healthy and back into form.

He's the beneficiary of playing alongside Duncan and Ginobili..

Take those two out of the equation and he's an average player.

take just amare out of your team and nash is never a MVP even in his dream...
I still remember the young TP outplaying Nash when he was at dallas...

Agreed. His jumper form is fine as long as he's not dog-tired, it's heis FT form that's the real worry.

He had 4-5 layups today and was penetrating well in the 1st half.

TP is not the problem.

Nash is MVP 2x

I don't own Chump - he might be Whottt's attack dog, but he's not mine.

And that's because you were a jerk by starting it.

So, let's end it.

Back on topic.

fair enough. in response to the OP, i believe that TP will be close to his best come playoff time. he's a real competitor and i don't see him lying down no matter what physical limitations he might experience.

anyway, even with a 2007 version of TP, the Spurs won't make it unless the role players show up come playoff time. Hopefully, with Brent Barry back, i'm confident they will.
