I dunno. I would be almost tempted to mail this one in. Play the bench most of the game...rest starters.

With this schedule, it's more about surviving with a decent record and your starters intact and healthy... then trying to win every game.

Pop should have a war room. "Ok guys, the schedule is a monster. We go all out on certain games, and try to recuperate on others. These are the games we'll try to win, and these are the ones we use the bench and rest our starters."

Our starters look tired and worn out right now. It's about winning the war, not every battle.

Mebbe developing a long term strategy to do just that is called for during this stretch. You gotta be able to stay in the top 4 of the conference...and still be healthy and rested for the playoffs. Very, very tough with our schedule.

Good luck Pop ;)

Changed my mind...win this one Pop, rest 'em tomorrow :D

Flipper's been "tinkering" with lineups lately (not including his precious starters, of course) and the team's a little out of sync. Spurs should be able to abuse both Dixon and Jarvis all night, Dice has been in one hell of a slump, and Tony always gives Chauncey trouble. Still, the Pistons *should* be up for the Spurs, so I predict a close one. I just hope Flip doesn't forget he has a bench and play the starters 40+ each.

Spurs by a hair, maybe. 96-93.

Then they will start playing like shit and allow Detroit to make a run.

I say Spurs win by 7, but I wouldn't be surprized if they get blown out the way thier playing and with a worn out ginobili. Lets face it, the spurs are viejitos already, next year they need to replace everybody outside of the big three. Then it will be like 2003 all over again when the spurs considred Althletic and tough to defend cause we had soo many weapons that year. This Spurs team reminds me of the 69 Celtics when they were the oldest team in the league, all the players were in thier mid 30's, Getting blown out in regular season games, almost all of thier playoff games went to 7, but some how they found a way to win the championship. Brace yourselfs Spurs fans cause these playoffs arent going to be easy for our viejito Spurs were every match will go to 7 games. Believe!

It's not your grand daddy's Spurs-Pistons. They'll score some points in this one. Spurs need to win the game more than the Pistons. Pistons have looked pitiful lately. Even the Spurs can't get them motivated.

No Bowen, no Udoka, no Barry. Looks like 120,000 worth of vBookie cash on Spurs; lots of believers.

My hardest problem was figuring out if I should bet on Pistons win by less than 20 or more than 20.

:D Sad joke, but it's true.

Where can I place my bet for this?

Odds are slim that the Spurs get outscored by 71 in the final 3 minutes.

I can see 41, but not 71 ......... :lol :lol :lol

I put 5k on the Pistons because I used the Power Distribution Number from the NBA.com site. It's typically a better than 50% predictor of which team will be victorious. Sorry but right now, the Power Number on the Pistons is a lot higher than the Spurs.

I'm tellin ya..the point differential power stat does not lie. Over 50% accuracy on predicting the outcome of a team beating another team.
