View Full Version : Bruce Bowen has been suspended by the NBA

The only thing regretable is the fact that Bowen will break his record, that apparently was the only way for him to do that.
The NBA we all know is run in a very oligargic way and is full of pussies. It's a business. It's pathetic.

Why are you such a cunt? Is it because the Spurs traded away Rasho or because nobody misses him? Or is it just because you are so disliked that you spend your time trolling on the message board of a team that doesn't have any players of the nationality you prefer?
My statement was addressed to her and her whining throughout the game thread about Chris Paul when he is obviously better than Tony this season. I especially enjoyed her excuses as to why Chris had 17 assists and Tony only 4. She is only making sarcastic comments about Chris because he is better than Tony.

Also another thing that is really regretable is the amount of trolls who have participated in this "inquisition" type post from the very beginning. Bruce Bowen is a gentleman and trust me I've seen worse things than that.
I understand the fact Kori needs to keep the doors open for all kinds of people and trolls but "enough is enough". This is a joke.

I seriously see nothing suspension worthy in the video. Where was the unnatural contact? It was a scrum for a loose ball ... and even then, Paul made most of the contact.
And for the record, I said that Bowen should have been suspended last year when he stuck his foot under Jamal Crawford. I've called Bowen out for going overboard in his dirty play. I also said it was BS that Kobe got suspended for accidentally hitting Manu. So it's not like I'm just homering out in this case. I seriously don't see anything in the clip that makes this suspension worthy. Out of everything Bowen did, this was by far the tamest.
Suspend Bowen for putting his foot under shooters, kneeing Nash in the nvts or kicking Wally in the face? Okay, I can understand. Suspend Bowen for going for a loose ball and having his nvts punched? Uh, what?
:dizzyYeah I'm obviously saying that this is pretty much a weak suspension but the fact that you basicaly had a with pitchforks made of the NBA community had something to do with this. Maybe now they'll STFU for awhile but I doubt it.
I coudlnt' give a fuck what the rest of the NBA thinks about him. Actually thats not true because I love that they hate him. They'd all love him if he was on their team.
Fuck the haters, Bruce for DPOY.

I know who is better than Rasho. I have no problem complimenting someone who is. And I surely can admit that an MVP candidate who plays his position is better than him. But attack Rasho because you have no good point to make- predictable.

Bruce got punched in the nuts? OMG why didn't Paul get suspended?!?!?
Apparently not clear enough to whoever was looking at the tapes.....
Paul was just as much to blame for this shit as Bruce, if not more. He was hanging onto Bruces leg like a horny dog. I'd be flailing my leg to get his bitch ass off me too.

I didn't see that part. Was he hanging on Bruce's leg or was he punching Bruce in the nuts?

“The league is trying to send him a message more than anything,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “The incident itself, I’ve watched a lot of times, and there was no real contact. It doesn’t reach the level of other suspensions that I’ve seen, either in physicality or harm.”

In the slo mo video it looks like CP3 hits Tony Parker in the balls as well. Tony leans forward in the way someone would react who just got hit in the balls.
There needs to be another commercial with that cheap magician explaining that opposing players must have magnets in their shorts.

Since Kobe threw an elbow at Kyle Korver the game after he hit Godan Giricek and didn't get suspended for it, I somehow doubt your logic.
Yeah ok but Kobe survived a rape trial so it appears that Kobe is "untouchable" in all facets of his life.
I don't think that using the leagues :dramaquee heir apparent to MJ is the best example here.
Just sayin.

Neither apparently, since the league did nothing to him......
I guess we're all imagining things.

And of course Jason Terry punching Michael Finley in the nuts was just good, hard playoff basketball and evocative of a simpler time when the refs just "let' em play," according to Holt's Cat.
Nah, intentional punching in the nuts is beyond the pale.
And my, you get worked up over the internets.

I just happen to be in this thread same time as you. I have a life away from the forum, I'm sure you do as well. Good luck to your Spurs tonight, they'll need it.
