I believe we've had Tornados roll through before.

If not them they sure threaten in the spring.....

Very True, one tornando ripped the roof off apartment in Med Center and one tornando went between University hospital and the VA hospital(missed the hospitals completely) back in 1989. I think it was storms from Hurricane Gilbert.

Uh...I know. His link was about the tornado that hit Atlanta. I was asking him if his reason for thinking the SA was so great because he thought a tornado could never happen here.

You might want to look at that again if you are comparing Houston's sprawl to that of San Antonio.

The smaller you go down the list, the less relevant it gets. SA should not be grouped with the top 12.

Of course there is. Houston is almost three times larger than SA, so there will be more. Just like there is more sprawl in NYC than LA. LA has about 2,000+ more people per square mile than NYC.

Atlanta is the worse sprawl offender though. Now THAT is a sprawling mess.

You don't like San Antonio because you don't like sprawl.

You prefer a city with substantially greater measurable sprawl.

There is a obvious disconnect here.

I could ride the bus or rail anywhere in Houston. You can't in SA. SA is one big suburban city and the only part that resembles anything walkable are the areas near the Riverwalk.

No offense, but the city seems so slow and backwards. I would live in Austin anyday over SA.

FYI, GuerillaBlack is a kid who lives with his parents and lives in either Dallas metro or Atlanta. He was born in Houston and rides that city's nuts harder than Lindsey Lohan and a real set of nuts.

Also, this clown is one big ass phony. He'll never give you a straight answer.

You actually should have read his response to his (probably first) visit to SA a couple of months back. Much different than his "SA sucks" stance now. :lol

Here it is:

SA is booming by the way. I have a new respect for SA after being here (am still here until later on today).

What enabled such a reaction. I mean "a new respect for San Antonio." What could have done that? Well....

All of the dirt [from construction sites]. I'm staying at my Uncle's house here on the NW side near Blanco. We were here for the Katy game.

We swooped around 1604 from I-10 on the east side, and it is like on both sides of the freeway there are developments (new and under construction) everywhere. They all look real upscale. There are a lot of midrises around this side where he lives, too.

More like Southwest Houston near the Beltway and 59. METRO runs frequent routes down there when I use to live there. The West Houston suburbs (where I am at), not so much.

Well... in reality it's only like 30th because most American cities are surrounded by populous suburbs, but since this little kid appears to be arguing that Sugar Land, TX is the Xanadu of urban development, the sheer absurdity of his position makes that distinction moot.
