Because Denver isnt very consistent from game to game, and Toronto is a playoff team in the East with Bosh and Philly is hot right now so who knows?

the great thing about this is from today on, it's like the playoffs have started. Intensity in any of these West games will be great.

bad thing as I said before is West teams will be burnt out by playofffs. congratulations Boston on your championship

If thats the rest of the Spurs tough games, then I expect them to have only four more losses on the year at worst.

That would put them at 55-27.

Denver is the one to keep an eye on. They're the marker whether we stay in the playoffs or not.

Spurs remaining games:

Sun, Mar 23 @ Dallas - Loss
Tue, Mar 25 @ Orlando - Win
Sun, Mar 30 Houston - Win
Tue, Apr 1 Golden State - Win (this team is mediocre on the road)
Fri, Apr 4 @ Utah - Loss (this team is damn near unbeatable at home)
Wed, Apr 9 Phoenix - Don't know...Suns haven't played well on the road with Shaq, but things have seemed to turn around for them.
Sun, Apr 13 @ LA Lakers - Loss....I think Gasol and maybe even Bynum could be back this date
Wed, Apr 16 Utah - Win....still mediocre on the road.

LMFAO!

The Spurs are making the playoffs....im predicting 55 or 56 wins and the fifth seed (but still home court advantage over the Jazz).

54 wins will get you a top 7 seed.
57 wins will get you the #1 seed.

Check all your tie breakers because this year they will come into play Big Time!

Laugh your fucking ass off all you want, the Spurs are 3 losses out of the playoffs. Get used to the West standings, which are quite different than the pansy east.

The Spurs are in real danger of not making the playoffs.

Having said that, they're also in real danger of being the number one seed. :lol

I know its easier said than done, but relax.

Its not as if the Spurs got blown out the last few games. They all (except NO) came down to final minute and they were against some really good teams too. Besides...look at Denver's schedule:

Tue, Mar 18 @ Detroit
Wed, Mar 19 @ Philadelphia
Sun, Mar 23 @ Toronto
Thu, Mar 27 Dallas
Sat, Mar 29 Golden State
Mon, Mar 31 @ Phoenix
Tue, Apr 1 Phoenix
Thu, Apr 10 @ Golden State
Sat, Apr 12 @ Utah
Sun, Apr 13 Houston

There's AT LEAST six more losses there (and thats if they beat every single weaker team they play). That would mean that the Spurs would have to lose 9 more games. Given that they only have seven tough games left, you would have to imagine a scenario where they lost ALL of those games and two games to weak teams.

The Spurs are in the playoffs. You guys just finsihed the toughest part of your schedule and you are panicking!
