rockets win tonight.. hate saying that..

they'll lose to either NO or the suns.

i'd say NO first.

tnt's pregame halftime and post game show are the shit. thats usually why i watch when spurs aren't on, the exception being a game like this.

HighLowLobForBig-50

i wonder if this game was scheduled or tnt used some kinda flex option.

It's gotta be a flex option. National tv games usually aren't on Tuesdays.

right . thats what i thought. a single header on tnt?

What's up with Boston's bench? They fucking walk around the court and the baseline talking shit to the fans whenever they score. They were doing that shit last night in SA also. WTF?

i really see a thug mentality from them. you have to look for it, but its there. They will not make it past Detroit. IMHO

SAtown
03-18-2008, 08:49 PM
But it's not even Cassell that does this. He talks on the court a lot (most of it probably joking around), but it's annoying to see bench warmers talking shit

this is the one thing i hate about rajon rondo. he's so inconsistent. he can go out, torch the other team for 20 points, and then come back the next game and miss every single shot he takes.

Celtics= Mavs reg season syndrome
when they lose a couple to detroit in the playoffs , they will have no answers
they dont know how to lose and it doesnt look as if they will learn before the playoffs.

There's been a lot of trade activity that's for sure. Some of it very predictable.

Boston, even without one of their superstars, on the verge of a Texas sweep.

First overcoming a 22-point hole last night, and now ending Houston's NBA recording breaking winning streak.

Cassell could put Boston over the top and lead them to the promise land for his third time. He's definitely a playoff player for them.

So Boston and Detroit seem to be the two great teams this year.

Hopefully Lebron pulls an upset on both of them. :lol

The Celtics are playing great right now..if they somehow lose this game you think they are going to start second guessing themselves?
No. They haven't shown any sign of second guessing themselves at all this season. They've responded to the doubters and critics by kicking everyone's ass.

I think second-guessing the Celtics success and comparing them to the Mavs is a mistake. Were the Mavs the number 1 defensive team last year?

We just need to Spurs to get a their swagger back with a couple of good wins!
That and more.

There's no comparison between this year's Celtics and last year's Mavs: The Celtics aren't soft pussies, and they won't change their lineup to "match up better" with Atlanta in the first round.

There's a reason our players generally play worse in Toyota Center than on the road: We have too many fair-weather fans.

The streak boosted the attendance while it lasted, but i doubt most actually cared about the team before the streak.

It's pathetic.

Man, the Rockets need to pick up a big from free agency. We got owned in the rebounding department on both ends of the floor. They also shut us down offensively because all they did was clog up the lane and forced the Rockets to make outside shots. If someone tried to drive in, it was two Boston players on the guy. They had two guys on T-Mac all night. Thibodeau had that defense clicking for Boston. They don't give up anything easily in the lane.

He's always been that way. Known for his strained antics such as woofing and mugging for cameras.
I've always disliked him and regarded him as something of a phony.

I'd hate to seem him win a title, but it looks very likely this year.

Duncan just laughs in his face. It'd be a dream come true for the Spurs to somehow pull it together and shut those fuckers down in the finals. They might have to put Garnett on a suicide watch if that happens. I think he regards himself as the anti-Duncan.
