Stand with Tibet - Support the Dalai Lama (http://www.avaaz.org/en/tibet_end_the_violence/6.php)

After decades of repression, Tibetans are crying out to the world for change. China's leaders are right now making a crucial choice between escalating brutality or dialogue that could determine the future of Tibet, and China.

We can affect this historic choice -- China does care about its international reputation. But it will take an avalanche of global people power to get the government's attention. The Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, has called for restraint and dialogue: he needs the world's people to support him. Fill out the form below to sign the petition--and spread the word.

The tibetian protesters started a race riot, looted banks and shops and injured innocent han chinese. what are the police/troops supposed to do? stand there and watch ?

its one thing that the people oppose to the chinese rule but its another thing to loot banks, burn cars, and specifically target han chinese and try to injure them.

Yeah, I don't disagree with that. I mean, with that they shouldn't protest like that. But China is the occupying force...

The Dalai Lama doesn't support them, and this is supposedly to support the DL.

We should raid them. Kill them. Ruin their city all in the name of freedom and 'merica.
