Guess your not watching the games because the astros havent lost a beat defensively. Go ahead and keep your numbers because from the looks of it Tejada might be an allstar this year. Coming from someone that watches all thier games. If I miss them I dvr them and watch them later and I can tell you he looks good out there defensively. We hardly miss Adam Everett.

To be honest with you I don't hate the Rangers, I could care less about the Silver Boot. I only rag on Melmart but thats for other reasons, not because I actually think the Rangers and Astros are rivals. Mono seems to hate the Astros and yes when they pay the Rangers I obviously want them to win, not for the silver boot but for a win. If anyone is an Astros rival I would say its the Cards, Brew crew, and Cubbies. Shit the Braves are more of a rival to us than the Rangers IMO, especially in the post season. Do the Rangers even have a "rival". I doubt the A's and Angels seem to consider then an actual "rival". They prob look at them the same way we look at the Pirates. You know a non-contender who happens to be in our division. When it comes to the AL I root for the Rangers, am I a fan no I wouldnt go that far. When it comes to baseball there is only 1 team for me the Astros and Fuck the Yankees. Firebat claims that anyone from the NL central shouldn't be talking shit?? Not really sure why? I guess because the NL central hasn't produced a champ since 1990. For you Rangers fans ill sum up our "rivalry" in a way you might understand. We pretty much see things the way you Cowboys fans think about the Texans. You guys feel like we are not really rivals, and most Texans fans feel like we are. I am guilty of this I admit but I know that we are no where near real rivals because we have yet to play when it actually means something..........like in the playoffs.

Right, because the Cowboy's claim to fame is that they got to a superbowl, only to get completely owned by the other team. Something like 35-7? Cause that'd be the equivalent of the Astros.

THere is no Natural rivalry. It is mainly just a focus on how much better the Rangers are as a team vs. the Astros right now and how much better they will be in the future because they won't be paying the corpse of Miguel Tejada and the bloated body of Carlos Lee more than 30 million per season. It is a focus on how much more awesome the Rangers farm system is and how much better they'll be in the future. It is a focus on how despite the fact that Lance Berkman is very much a beast, Josh Hamilton's beastiliness outshines even him.

Rangers>>>>Astros. Despite playing in a better division than the Astros could possibly fathom. (Seriously, when was the last time your NL Central produced a 100 win team?)

the astros should just trade oswalt now for pitching prospects. they've wasted his prime for years, and he's never complained.

CJ Wilson with another erratic save. Can he please get a 1-2-3 inning for once. I'd like to watch a 9th inning for once without have a heart attack watching CJ close it out.

Eddie Guardado has been great another scoreless 8th

There are rumors floating around that they might trade him for prospects. I don't like that one bit, but yeah he isnt getting any younger.

Who?

.333 .402 .685 1.086

You know, the guy who's better than anyone the Astros have in the minors + anyone they have in the majors not named Lance Berkman.

i'm consistently amazed that with this amazing collection of talent the rangers are still barely a .500 team.

their bats are incredible and the starting pitching is only bad when it's usually horrendous. unfortunately they have what may be the worst bullpen in major league history.

They've had the bats, but the Rangers have lacked quality pitching for years now. You think they would of learned by now.
