Hopefully the Spurs will take care of the Bucks tonight. You'd think that they'd come out ready to play.

Right?

:oops

ShoogarBear

If form holds, this will be a game where the Spurs come out focused and give a complete ass-kicking, making what happened against Utah all the more frustrating.

The next mental lapse will be due around the time they play the Wiz or the Clips.

grim, why so much hatred for the spurs?

Where do you see "hatred"? I'm not saying I hope Manu is run over or Duncan should shoot himself in the head. I'm just pointing out that a team with the Spurs' record shouldn't be STRUGGLING against crappy teams. Even Popavich knows their record is misleading because they haven't consistently played the WHOLE game. And because they routinely BLOW leads. Plus they don't seem to learn from their screw ups very well. I really do think they are OVERRATED, but I don't HATE them. (btw--they are playing right now like they should..but you Spurs fans KNOW the TINY little 11 pt lead can vanish quicker than a dozen donuts at a cop station--the FACT they are known to blow leads , sadly for the Spurs, STILL remains)

Johnny_Blaze_47
01-12-2005, 09:27 PM
The difference between the Spurs and the Jazz is that the Spurs can actually get a lead on a team consistently.

I don't know if the Suns will be able to keep it going all the way. The Spurs? Well, seeing how they have NOT figured out how to stop themselves from COLLAPSING on a regular basis, you can probably bet they'll repeat the exit from last season's playoffs. Now, if they figure out how to stop screwing up so easily....they have more than a good chance of winning another championship. I haven't seen a "screw-up free" Spurs this season AT ALL yet. 27 assists for Spurs and 11 for Bucks. Now that is good defense.
