Splitter has a $1M buyout for the nba this summer. If he doesn't use it, Tau has an option to extend his contract until 2012.
Splitter has said that he wants to play in nba so he will likely come in NBA next year.
Euro's contracts aren't set in stone at all. You can imagine Tau and Splitter re-working on his contract to keep him next year with a quite big salary and allow him to leave Tau for the nba in 2009 for $500K.

After the endless Scola's buyout story, I won't consider Splitter as a sure thing as long as he ahsn't signed his contract with Spurs.

:tu

He ain't a Spur unto we see him in the gym with a signed contract. The Scola ordeal really sucked for us Spur fans. I thought Scola was coming for sure so this time I'm going to err on the side of caution.

But I want him over here next year with Ian and maybe even Marcus can stick this time.
