As a member, I would like to share my experience with my Roundtable tryout.
I hope this helps prepare you for the journey ahead.

Basically, it's like American Idol.

You fill out the paperwork, typical stuff.
Name:
BirthDate:
Why you would make good Roundtable host:
Have you ever been arrested:
Would you ever give your bank account # to African royalty that need help:

Then you get in line a wait. (About 300 deep when I tried out)
You wait.....and wait...and wait...
and wait in the hotel lobby, (Omni on Wurzbach)

After about 3 hours in. Kori arrives with her entourage, and they are wisked away into another conference room. Everyone gets back excited and the buzz around the lobby is awesome.

Then they take you in groups of 10 to the 1st panel.
It's consists off LJ Ellis, Cyber Bob, Don Harris, and John Tesh.

They throw out questions and you have to answer them better than anyone else in your group.

From there the pick between 1 to 3 "semi-finalists"

Then you are wisked into another conference room with the other semi-finalists. They then sit you down at a fake desk and ask rountable type questions.

"What are the Spurs weaknesses that will hurt them down the stretch"

(It's crazy, the butterflies are killing your stomach, I threw up a little in my mouth when they asked me my question"

It happens so quick, you've waited all of your life. And you get 10 seconds at your shot for glory.

Then the final stage:

You are given a "Golden Ticket". The tickets allows you access to the Penthouse level where the final interview is held.

You give your ticket to the guard at the elevator, and you are handed a room key.

You enter the Penthouse suite, and the lights are completly off. (Brings back goosebumps just talking about it...)

A Voice booms "Sit in the chair in the middle of the room"

You go ahead and sit down, not know what to expect. For about 15 minutes there is dead silence. You don't know whether to speak or do anything. (Was really freaking out by then)

Then suddenly, you see the curtain open just a bit, only to allow a single ray of light cascade into the room.

It is then when you see her.

Kori.

She is sitting in an Italian custom made chair with her back to you, you can see the smoke trails lingering from the cigarrette that dangles from her left hand.

She motions with her hand for someone to come near here. A well built CIA looking guy with an earpiece beckons her, and she says something to him.

The CIA guys then slowly walks over to me and says:

"Mrs. Ellis would like to know if that after this year. How many NBA finals MVP's will Shaq have on his shelf"

I'm thinking holy crap. What do I say.....
It's is then, when for some reason unknown to me, I blurt out......"It will actually be Tim Duncan's 3rd"

Scared crapless, I sit in silence for about 15 seconds, when I see Kori slowly turn around.

Although I could not see her face, I'll never forget what she said.

"Welcome to the Spurs RoundTables"

You can invite me to the round table

and then on live you can say: "we tried to catch polandprzem but it it extreamly difficult these days, he got the invitation but probably something more important happened, we are very sorry for that"
