I didn't see the game but that's another impressive stat line for Finley. How has his defense been looking?

Those are some nice numbers. If you go back to the start of the 6 game win streak when he turned his shooting around his numbers are:

173 minutes (28)
30-54 fg (55%)
9-19 3pt (47%)
8-9 ft (88%)
77 pts (12.8)
20 rbs (3)
6 to's (1)

That's including the egg he laid on Easter against the Mavs.

Fin is a streak shooter. And the law of averages says that he wouldnt have shot that badly all year. I wasnt (and aint) worried about Fin.

Pains you to DEATH to acknowledge his good play.

If the search function were available i'd post a link to your premature schoolboy rant from about 2 weeks ago (especially since i called you on it).

Nah, I think Ill wait till the playoffs when he drops a similar line and help wins another playoff game.

Will be interesting to see how sparse the haters will be then.

No, premature would be looking at a few good games and assuming he has definitively turned some kind of corner.

Most negative posts about Finley by me and others weren't premature, weren't even timely... they were _late_.

This coming from someone who said Finley was "done" and "worthless" and needed to be benched the rest of the season.

I'll bump your childish rant when the search function permits me to do so.

EVERY player goes through a slump. Finley will get bashed again as will Tony, Manu, Tim, Bruce, Brent, Pop, etc. I know they all deserve crticism when they play bad but damn.

Thats fine.

Continue hating on him while he shoots 7 of 8 and bags 16.

Stay off the wagon.

Thats what I expect from Finley. To win one or two playoff games where he just can't stop hitting shots. I don't expect him to play out of this world every game. I don't understand why people expect so much from him. We already have 3 big time players. I expect the others to get hot at thier own specific time. Fin one night, Ime the other, etc. Thats why you win championships.

Eh maybe not 6 boards, but 12 to 14 wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

They will be dubbing duncan the whole day and leaving 1 guy open, hopefuly Fin, Ime, Bruce and Tony hit their shots.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Bonner get some PT after his damn good play last night either.

We don't need Finley shooting lights out every night. We need him shooting consistently decent. The problem with relying on streak shooters is you don't know which Finley has shown up until he has been in the game stinking up your offense already. At what point do you put Ime in? Five misses? Seven? Meanwhile Finely's man is getting to the paint with impunity. If he lays an egg or two down the stretch or in the playoffs, I don't see any reason to ever start him over Ime/Barry given the kind of players we will need to be defending. Sitting around waiting for Finley to have some kind of breakout night is ridiculous.

No, I've noticed. Surely you remember breaking my balls every time. It's the nut-huggers that failed to notice when the bench and esp. Finely was losing us games most of the year.

The team loses games, not single players.
